Nikon Z8 - my first impressions and my first shoot in beautiful winter conditions. Having recently bought a Nikon Z8 with two Nikkor Z lenses I head out in snow for my first shoot. I capture a number of photographs with my new camera that I really like and I give my first impressions and initial review as a new owner of the Z8.

Glad you're enjoying your new camera system. I enjoyed your previous videos and so thank you for that. You had your reasons for moving to Nikon, camera owners can be too tribal over gear so never mind the silly comments.

Hello Wayne. Am I glad I found you on RUclips. Was priced up and ready to spend on fujifilm gear but no longer due to your poor customer service. Have to sus out nikon now. Love your style of videos. Now researching which nikon mirrorless camera to get.

Hi, The low res. Viewfinder and screen are enough to show taken photograph? The image quality is good enough at 14bit 45.7mp for large print to see details? I owned Sony a1 but didn’t like colours, and my GFX100S is not versatile specially with bulky lenses. I love image quality by my Gfx at 16bit and 102mp but unfortunately it’s good for studio and landscape only and not for all types of photography! The only thing that I’m afraid if I switch to Z8 is image quality since I’m pixel peeping person. Please let me know your opinion. Thank you

I have been torn on switching from Fuji to Nikon … I didn’t realize you switched from Fuji and you almost had me sold on the Fuji xh2s … weirdly I’ve been torn between that and the z8…. I photograph a lot of barrel racing and need reliable autofocus. Do you find the z8 autofocus is more reliable?

Well you have Nikon Pro now if you have any problems hopefully your troubles are behind you.
