It feels SO GOOD to be back in the van with Akela!! We have settled into a wonderful rhythm of early mornings and slowly life has fallen back into place after so much travel. Thanks for being here guys, love you!
So beautiful ❤❤ you have captured peace and love wherever you land Linnea and balancing the at times tightrope very well.. thank you for taking me along..
You and your Dog needs a Friend. I'm in Texas. I can do chores and pay rent. Would be nice to travel with ya both. Even if it's just to go to Lunch or a nice hike.
Aren’t you so lucky?! Living the life of a nomad-homesteader…We’re lucky too! The stories you tell and the footage you share are so heartwarming, a touchstone in a hectic world. Thanks Linnea, Akela , Kobuck and Chris ❤
"You still haven't met all the people you will love, or be loved by" I needed this, today. Thank you! At the end of the month, I am embarking on my own nomad life, in my converted shuttlebus. This quote settled deep within me, this morning, and has calmed my spirit. ❤
You're gonna have to explain how you wrap your hair at night and undo it in the morning. I just started playing with robe ties and am interested in other ways to do it. TIA 😉
Girl I feel that. My whole life is based off of decisions I made when I was feeling good 😂 at least yours are self improvement lol about half of mine are
This reminds me of when you made your first trips with Akela and Togo. I loved all those videos and especially this one. Great to see you back home, all together.
As soon as you sat that dehydrator on top of the Bluetti and walked away, I yelled “nooo”! Because I knew one of the pups would knock it over. Even my cat would have knocked that over. It was too tempting.
I don't love consuming content first thing in the morning, but I'll let myself watch yours! Lol. It's so slow and mellow. I watch it while I make breakfast and have my morning coffee. Thanks for that 😊
I'm fulltime vanlife, also I'm looking at Bluetti. Thanks. I loved Peru. I crave off-grid life. Sometimes I bounce back into Grandma's life with the kids. Less is more for me.
Watching the sunrise is such a magical moment that just starts the day off in a different way. Rainy days when I cant watch it rise, almost feel as if they never really begin. & Yay for you! I just started pottery lessons a few weeks ago. I love it! I have been wanting to do it for SO many years I am mad at myself for not taking the time before now. I bet you could make some fantastic clay out of the dirt on your property!
Watching your videos makes me so calm. And the feeling and belief that I'll be able to build a van one day and live a beautiful life in the nature, it's so beautiful. And you have given me so much inspiration💛 Love you and your videos!
You should put a large wooden shed on the property and transform it into a house or space to hang to get out of the vans and elements. A bigger kitchen
I think y'all are amazing! I absolutely love watching you and Chris in all that you do. The pups are beautiful too! Stay as y'all are and change only when it makes your hearts happy ❤
Girl, your videography blows my mind. I've been watching you for a couple of years now, and you've grown so much. It's so inspiring. Like, I can't even describe how your cinematography makes me feel. You're gifted. Like, it's not easy & you make it seem so natural. Ugh. Moved to tears almost every time I watch one of your videos. Also, Akela is the perfect pup. Yeesh. 🫶🏽
Really enjoy your videos about your lifestyle and adventures. Not sure why I can't get people to watch my videos, I appreciate the quality of your content. Really well done. I wish you great success in your endeavors and adventures.
Another beautiful video. Peru had an amazing effect on you. I often get up to see the sunrise but haven't made it a daily thing yet. Akela was just curious but I knew that was going to happen. 😅 You are doing awesome things I aspire to do one day. Glad you're back. Have a wonderful week ❤
I have a white shepherd that looks identical to Akela her name is Pearly, we traveled across America in our little guy max trailer and when I see you wake up with her and she’s such a baby doll it warms my heart cause they are our big baby’s! No other feeling to be in a beautiful secluded area hearing nature and the sun wake you up and have a bed hull of Sheppy and cuddles and love! Sending So much love to you and everyone all around you ❤ 🐾
This made my whole nervous system relax and was the reminder that I needed. My cattle dog Callie would have been ALL over that jerky. What a good girl Akela!
Great to see you back! You and Akela look so vibrant, so healthy! The multi cooler is so cool, i just know its an amazing acquisition. Excited for the adventures to come! ❤
I feel uplifted and inspired when I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing life with the dogs, the outstanding countryside, and the occasional glimpses of Chris, who, by the way, has the most amazing voice. More please. From Claire, an old lady in England!
Wow girl I love your braids. This is the first time I’ve watched your channel. But I build oil and gas leases and road . We make huge pits with cats and hoes . We dig deep so we go through many lairs of different dirts clay’s beautiful stuff . I’ve made things never fired anything but you showed me my new thing . Even about putting stuff into the clay to keep it from cracking. I work all over Canada . Thank you for the lesson’s
Yes I’ve noticed that about you Linnea, you love early mornings, and you love wild life the animals I mean, I love to see you in your element, that’s why your videos are so interesting to watch thanks for that 👍❤
Yaass lately I keep thinking what an amazing thing it would be to eat a bowl of yogurt with berries and honey made from my own milk cows, garden and bees.. Next level would be using the bowl and spoon I made as well. It's like existing in a fractal spiral of self love 💜
My grandmother use to make jerky when i was a kid. she also made dehydrated fruit snacks. i loved those! kiwi, lemons, apples, water melon, you name it n she had a bunch of gallon bags full for me every time we visit. you should try it. this video reminded me of those times as a kid cooking with my grandmother. Thanks for that!
Just wanted to say thank you!been watching you for a while now and helped inspire me alongside other RUclipsrs to do this myself. I do not live in my van. I just use it on long weekends but now I’m making my own videos so thank you 🙏
You looked so primal there at the end, eating your jerky in a squat, popping up when someone came past lol very cute. Akela the little mischief maker!! Such a cool video and a real treat to be invited in to see your day-to-day living. Thanks Linnea ❤❤
Im beyond grateful n thankful that U have allowed me on this journey n adventure with you. Your stories n pictures are amazing n so breathtaking. Thank U . Safe Travels Always. God Bless Ya'll. Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan, Tam ❤❤❤❤
Linnea, I’m glad you’re back making videos. I hope to get my van in the next month or so. I won’t be a full time van dweller but I want to do some traveling. One thing I’m really concerned about, how terrible are the bugs and other critters? Do you find things like scorpions or tarantulas in your van? I’m literally terrified of spiders and I just cannot wake up with a tarantula in my face. Also, what about poisonous insects and snakes? I don’t imagine there is any real way to keep them out completely but there have got to be some tips & tricks you’ve come up with, considering all of the traveling you do! I want to see the desert but I’m thinking maybe I should do day trips to places where those creatures are in abundance! I’m not afraid of many things but arachnids are my kryptonite!
Solar going out made for a great cozy shot. Coyotes were amazing and looked very healthy. Can't wait to see what else you capture on video in the early mornings.😍😘❤❤❤🐾❤🐾 Nice thumbnail too👍
I love your stove. I just gifted my vintage presto log cutter to a friend because I decided that she needed it more than me, but I can highly recommend trying to snag one if you can. Quiet, safe and clean. Can be used inside with no worries (important in my very soggy neck of the woods). I can't post a pic but it's a metal hoop that you slide the log into with a lever arm that pushes a point into the log and pops off a nice disc any width you want. No bigger than a hatchet.
Beef is so healthy for you because it's so nutrient dense. I love the fact that you make your own dog food which is so much better for your dogs than store bought dog food.
This was so peaceful and warming. Needed this calm today. Motivates me to just get in my car and go! Definitely going to spend the next 6 months saving up and then hitting the road in the fall and just following the weather. Thank you for this inspiration ❤
so love your future projection that is so realistic. This is retrospective as have seen your creations since. Very impressed by you artistic ability - jealous ...not 🙂 aussie style - love ya!!
Keep jerky in a sealed jar not a plastic bag it will sweat in the plastic bag and go moldy good job good video keep up the good work and take care❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
You need to build a tippable rack to mount your solar on the van roof instead of the way they are flat mounted. Then you will be able to produce the maximum amount of electricity even in winter. There are online solar calculators for both tilt angle and azimuth that are both important for maximizing solar production. Azimuth does not change through the year, but tilt angle is constantly changing and should be adjusted at a minimum of four time per year with the change of seasons, but adjusting it monthly would be even better to max out your production.
It feels SO GOOD to be back in the van with Akela!! We have settled into a wonderful rhythm of early mornings and slowly life has fallen back into place after so much travel. Thanks for being here guys, love you!

I laughed so hard when Akela pushed the dehydrator over. 😃
Same! 😂
I thought it fell, I missed her touching it 😊
Thank you for allowing us in!
You’re always such a breath of fresh air! Idk you but I’m proud of all your endeavors and the energy you have for this life! Such an inspiration 🫶🏻
EVERYTHING IS BUTTERFLY 🦋 AMD SUNSHINE ☀️ 🎀🌱 Adores you.
I was with Akela "Why up so early mom?" But as you explained and videoed the amazing sunrise it made sense! Quite and calming ❤❤❤❤
The earlier one awakens, the more time spent enjoying the beauty of life.
You could do a cook book with both your recipes and doggie recipes.
Girl I feel that. My whole life is based off of decisions I made when I was feeling good 😂 at least yours are self improvement lol about half of mine are
lol I made a general rule in life to never make plans or decisions after my morning coffee 😂 because I indeed am not that person majority of the time.
You’re such a beautiful soul Linnea. This was an awesome vlog. Your van is so cozy xx
Thank you so much!
I can tell the Peru trip had a big impact on you. We all need those resets in our lives. Great video! Thanks!
This reminds me of when you made your first trips with Akela and Togo. I loved all those videos and especially this one. Great to see you back home, all together.
Your videos are getting more and more amazing each time. So poetic!🙌✨️🤘
Our Froy dog is huffing at the coyote howls in your video 😂
Now I want a dehydrater & make my own jerky. Inspiring THX
As soon as you sat that dehydrator on top of the Bluetti and walked away, I yelled “nooo”! Because I knew one of the pups would knock it over. Even my cat would have knocked that over. It was too tempting.

I know the area you were staying in....such a good time of year to be there! I miss your "blooper" outtakes at the end of your videos!
They are so sleepy 😂 the cutest thing
Watching your videos makes me so calm. And the feeling and belief that I'll be able to build a van one day and live a beautiful life in the nature, it's so beautiful. And you have given me so much inspiration💛 Love you and your videos!
I wish you would make an hour long video. I would watch it and that is something I would love. You’re great at creating entertaining videos. ❤

Akela makes me laugh so much. Thanks for the beautiful video, Linnea. Good luck with marathon training.
That pan that you use to cook everything in must be the most well seasoned pan on the face of the planet. I love it!! Is it cast iron?
Rustic van. Cool
This video was just what I needed this morning ❤
I think this was my favorite video that you've made!!!!
I greet the sunrise every single day and it's trulymy favorite part of the day! Love your videos so much! Thank you! 😊
The coyotes!!!!🥹
Like taking a deep breath and seeing a familiar friendly face, Thanks, Linnea for the post.
As soon as you set the dehydrator on top of the power station, I said to myself , that's going to fall . It just had a little help 😉
