Linnea...it is okay to not be okay. Every day, we as humans, go into battle. For some people, battle may be an illness or the loss of someone or something we love. It could be a battle of providing for ourselves or our family, homelessness, job loss, or perhaps a catastrophe. Battles can look the same for some and painfully different for our fellow humans. Wars are waged against varying demons inside our own minds, drugs, alcohol, food, being in a relationship, or not being in a relationship. No one's battle is less than or greater than someone else's because unless someone is forthcoming with the war they are in, we tend to think that they are okay. Linnea, you have provided us with a glimpse into your life as a nomad that is real and down to earth. There is beauty in the chaos!!! I like how you show all of your life Linnea, even the parts that are a little stressful because in reality, the mountain views and the crystal clear lakes become all the more special once youve been in the city for a while. Without that contrast, as strange as that sounds...the back woods wouldnt bring you that huge sigh of relief and also that deep, deep peace. I feel the "real life" videos that you bring to the table are what make your channel so incredibly interesting because you balance them both! When there are mountains surrounding you, you portray them in your videography like artwork but you also tell the daily story of your life in the middle of the city as well, there is beauty in the daily grind of what we all have to do to live too. So thank you for your inspiration and authenticity. I just wanted to mention that in this video, I noticed a screw or nail sticking out under the rear upper cabinet on the drivers side. That could be hazardous onto you or Adela. Thanks again.

FYI tip, Les Schwab tire centers (west trips) will fix any tire leaks for free, does not matter if you bought tires from them, just their customer service, as a former Yopper, who now lives in northwest Montana, I wish you the very best safest journey, followed all your build videos, on my 2016 RAM, your sub floor video hooked me! don't forget some bear spray, good protection from idiots too!

Normally I'm a cheap guy when it comes to headlamps but I finally bit the bullet and bought that same Black Diamond lamp last year for hunting and I absolutely love it. I just gotta remember now to buying another one now for my camping set up and I'm golden.

Akela is the most beautiful dog ever ... ever! I cannot get over how amazing, funny, sensitive (and attuned to you) she is. So, there is that. Next, I want to just thank you for your courage to take the "road less traveled" ... I saw the episode where someone following you had commented that "your life was not normal". A friend of mine once said to such a comment that "normal is a setting on a washing machine ... it has nothing to do with human experience." This weekend while at my campsite I fixed my own tire! Removed the wheel, removed the nail, rasped the hole, plugged it, tested the plug, re-inflated the tire, put the wheel back on and torqued it to spec. The hardest part was trusting my own work to get me the three hour drive home. It was very empowering for me. AND, only cost me $11 😂
Have fun! We just hiked to lower blue lakes and there was still a lot of random piles of snow! Stay warm out there and be safe. There was a bear lounging about 20ft off the trail. 😅
You are so authentic, I swear I felt every, tiniest emotion of yours. And I'm so with you to. Understand "the routine" think, dealing with that constand and , let's be honest, massive "plan change" flow at all the time. On, and on and on.....people who doesn't live our lives would "NEVER" understand fully.

Akela reminds me so much of my Jacki, she was a blonde husky mix. Miss her dearly, she had a stroke 2 yrs ago, had to put her down. Hardest thing ever, yr after that my mom died. Auto repairs are just crazy expensive, but that bill did seem reasonable. I do most of my own repairs, it is hard work, and parts are expensive. I could have saved a few bucks on your brakes, but not much. And you have piece of mind know it was done professionally. Could you give me an idea of what you have infested in your promaster, I currently have a 4x4 1/2 ton pick-up. Looking into possibly getting a van. Is your promaster front wheel drive, I've heard they are? Not sure about that far as towing a boat. Okay, I'll be on my way. Oh if you're ever in Indiana and need bow work done, Albertson's in Warsaw does great work! Okay, later.
I can relate to the effects of postponing ones personal rhythm and routine for those we love and can help at times. This weekend while at my campsite I fixed my own tire! Removed the wheel, removed the nail, rasped the hole, plugged it, tested the plug, re-inflated the tire, put the wheel back on and torqued it to spec. The hardest part was trusting my own work to get me the three hour drive home. It was very empowering for me. AND, only cost me $11 😂
Have fun! We just hiked to lower blue lakes and there was still a lot of random piles of snow! Stay warm out there and be safe. There was a bear lounging about 20ft off the trail. 😅

Such an awesome young lady, can take care of yourself, and Akela, ( whoever else) all by willing to learn new things, and the info you've acquired along the way, with flyfishing, archery, just living out in the woods, by yourself, I tell my husband about you and how I think about what's going on in the world, and we need to learn more, watching you be able to just survive on the land, is quite amazing!! 🤗 I Also watched a video lately, about you building a little table for your mom, and, go foraging for berries bake a pie, with said berries, cook an amazing meal and all before she got home, she must be very proud of you, !! It's awesome your getting your vehicle all fixed up for your next adventure that way no unexpected surprise break down's , Dogs really are supportive arnt they mine is as well thier always there for us and I believe sense our downs .. REI, that’s funny, because today I stopped in a local REI to get a ursack for my Wyoming traverse of the wind river range later this month and all I wanted was the darn food bag, but nooooooo, I spent an extra 100 I shouldn’t have 😂😂😂
Glad you got the windshield fixed. In some states, driving with a cracked windshield is illegal and fines can ensue.

Akela reminds me so much of my Jacki, she was a blonde husky mix. Miss her dearly, she had a stroke 2 yrs ago, had to put her down. Hardest thing ever, yr after that my mom died.
Auto repairs are just crazy expensive, but that bill did seem reasonable. I do most of my own repairs, it is hard work, and parts are expensive. I could have saved a few bucks on your brakes, but not much. And you have piece of mind know it was done professionally.
Could you give me an idea of what you have infested in your promaster, I currently have a 4x4 1/2 ton pick-up. Looking into possibly getting a van. Is your promaster front wheel drive, I've heard they are? Not sure about that far as towing a boat.

I can relate to the effects of postponing ones personal rhythm and routine for those we love and can help at times.
