    Thank you for this. I seen all angles and you explained very well. I will be doing this maintenance soon for my passenger seat switch on my 2014 chevy camaro.

    Thank you so much for this video, I learned alot because of you. I have a 2015 Camaro but my switches look different than yours so i guess i have the two way switch you mentioned. My seat goes forward but not backwards, for a while it would go backwards occasionally but then it stopped going backwards completely but it still will go forward but i definitely try not to move it forward because it will stay in that position and i wont be able to move it backwards. I kinda figured the motor had to be good because it wouldn't work at all. Getting a new switch is the cheapest fix so i hope it solves my issue. Thanks again.

      Did it solve your issue ? Mines goes backwards but not forward

      Seems to be an issue with a lot of these camaro seats, my drivers seat won't go backwards either but goes forward. I was just in the shop for an alternator that had the pully break off. I told them about the seat and they just ordered a whole new seat. I was shocked because clearly the switch is bad. I suppose when you have the platinum extended warranty that's the route they take. They will make more money on labor replacing the seat than the switch.

    I know this video is old but could you tell me the tool you used to get the second screw out to remove the panel? I'm having the toughest time getting the screw out.

      I used a stubby philips screwdriver. You could also use a little ratchet with a Philips apex bit.

    Could you please advise a Part Number of the motor for Left seat recline adjuster (vertical seat back) ? 2009-2012 chevrolet camaro. It stuck and moves backward only

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  2 года назад

      If it moves backward then the motor is fine. It sounds like the switch is bad for the recline.

    I am surprised-that the ms906ts doesn’t allow bi control for seat

      It isn't the scan tool, when I looked at the wiring diagram the seat wiring does not go to any module. It is still old school and wired directly to power and ground only.
