About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

I got tears when you saw snow for the first time......I was 29 and pregnant when I first saw snow....the joys of being from WA. Proud of you both for conquering that mountain.

Megan's reaction when seeing snow for the first time was hilarious. 😁😁 You two are funny. Good work in reaching the top. 👏👏 I can totally relate how you felt during your hike. I often wonder why the heck am I doing the hike, while on steep hikes like you've done. But more often than not, the end goal, and the wonderful views experienced, is worth every step. Plus the big euphoric feeling from all the endorphins generated inside our bodies upon completing the hike is sensational. Thank you endorphins 😁

Loved the excitement and enthusiasm in your video. Well done guys - you've ticked off a walk that many locals haven't done. The ocean you thought you saw wasn't the ocean it was environmental haze. Also the rope you mentioned was removed for safety as it was anchored to a small tree and tempted people to rely on it rather than picking their way down using good hand and footholds. Never rely on vegetation on rocks - it is rarely deep rooted and easily pulls away. Frequently backwards can be the best option on descent.
Tasmanian landscape is best landscape by a very long way.....

Bloody good trek, Kelly Basin on a good day is really nice, Montezuma falls is a must while your on the West Coast and then all the little treks on the way to Hobart from Queenstown. If you get the chance to do an overnighter, Frenchmans Cap is epic.
We watched this on Sunday and loved it. I even recommended it to a friend and tagged it as a "feel good" video. I can't believe it didn't rate well. Just ridiculous. Not only was the footage great but the sense of achievement and the emotion you managed to exhibit was a joy. We have just watched the "thank you" video and I'd like to thank you two for the pleasure you bring. Great job.

WOW! So proud of you both! Great job making the peak, and thanks for sharing and taking us all along for such an epic hike. If I could, I'd make my way to Tasmania just for that hike. It reminded me of my youth back in the mid 70's when I and my buddies camped, hiked and climbed glaciers in the Rogers Pass area of the Canadian Rockies. Oh to be that young again. And Jack, that peak would have made for the best proposal. You missed a great chance there buddy.
One word. Monumental. I really thought no way near the beginning. I suspect Meghan is about my height so all that rockhopping and reaching for footholds is next level. Good on both of you. A real team effort!!

Omg! Absolutely loved loved loved this episode!! Was so wonderful to see you guys keeping it so real and doing something so challenging and beautiful. This Gave me fond memories (even though it’s not a matched scale at all, your hiked was probably 3-4 times harder) of when my partner and I hiked up East Mount Barren in the Fitzgerald River National Park in WA. Have you guys been there? It’s stunning!

That is one of the most difficult hikes and climbs in Tassie, well done. I hiked Stacks Bluff at Ben Lomond on Saturday 3 rd and that was incredible the whole way. So many amazing views to be had in Tassie.
