The Abnormality Faust's new E.G.O. is from is based on both the "Duck-Rabbit Illusion" and possibly "The Persistence of Memory". Also, The Abnormality is called "Time Duck".
I assume that Abnormality appears in Lobotomy Corporation? How interesting! Makes me look forward to seeing that abno if I ever unlock it in the future. hehe

Apparently, June is a popular time for people to get married, and gacha games capitalize on this to push out wedding-themed stuff. Faust’s EGO garb isn’t really a wedding dress, but I assume the similarity is intentional.

You’re gonna be able to get Ryoshu for free since she’s a reward for participating in the event. You’ll likely be getting event reward currency for playing through the canto missions and mirror dungeons
She is?! Ahhhh, then I guess it would be recommended to complete the event, but skip the story and then complete that portion when the time comes, right? Or just focus on completing the Canto missions and mirror dungeons instead? Definitely want the Ryoshu ID so much too. So many good ones!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna The event itself is separate from the intervallo, so you won’t have to worry about story. The event will just be an event store or something similar in which you’ll earn currency for just playing the game that can be exchanged for Ryoshu and resources.
Oh whew, that’s a relief! Then that means I can get the Ryoshu ID without worrying~ hehe thank you!

Really wasn't expecting but also very expected Time Duck as an EGO and it turned out WONDERFUL
So I guess it is confirmed to be based off of the Time Duck. Have yet to encounter that myself, but makes me look forward to this EGO in any case~ hehe

Indeed we are, its a waw too so it isnt gonan be fighting slots with Fluid Sac too! I was saving my boxes for Erlking but now it is an absolute must that I get Faust EGO

@@Trailblazer_RirinaWell, you don't need to worry too much. It's explicitly labelled as an event EGO, it'll probably be obtainable just by farming event content. (I can't say that for certain though)
Edit: Actually it isn't listed like the Ryoshu ID is, so probably nevermind…

I feel like Erlking is still there or a variation of it in a world without [REDACTED] because thats the wuthering heights of where the butler IDs are from. Maidmael alone proves 2 things from her uptie story(that it takes place after the events of Canto 6, and that beastcliff in that mirror world still retains their ability to summon the wild hunt, though to what capacity im not sure.) There's also the fact that we havent gotten a heathcliff ID yet related to the mirror world trend , Yi sang got spice bush, an ID of the mid boss so he wouldnt be allowed to get Farmwatch at that point(I wanted Farmwatch Faust so badly though to follow the possible trend at the time of Faust being the ID of the big bad of the canto like with Kromer) and Ishmael got Ahab ID but not gasharpoon.
So if i were to guess, we might honestly get Mattcliff, the mid boss of Canto 6.

So faust's EGO is based on an abno we've only seen in MD events.
The abno itself is seemingly inspired by a combination of two separate things. First is the artwork "The Persistence of Memory" which consists of drooping melted clocks, and the second is the Rabbit-duck illusion, which is the concept that you can draw an image or outline that can look both like a duck or a rabbit depending on the angle you look at it.
Fausts wedding dress actually is likely less actually fabric and more so transluscent melted clocks, which becomes a lot more apparant in the corrosion, where the clock gears are effectively floating in a melted ill defined mass that roughly takes on the shape of a bird.
Ahhh, no wonder I didn't know of this. Have yet to complete the MD so far. Really need to get started on that eventually... But that's super cool that the abno itself is inspired by an artwork and an illusion! Very creative of the concept artists and company!

Also this is very funny because in the Discord server the guys were writing and sharing photos about wedding dress of Don, Ish, etc what sinners they would marry and out of nowhere Project Moon saw that and said, hell yeah Wedding Dress.

The abnormality time duck is based optical illusion where you can see duck or rabbit depends your perspective
and btw the time fluid on faust awakening look like rabbit ear
Things like this makes me realize once more on the creativity of the artists and writers of this game and the concepts made. it’s such a gem~ ❤️
