After suffering an entire day of non stop getting wrecked all the time. After watching this video and trying this strat, I beat it on 2nd try. As a new player to the game, I thank you very kindly 😊.

Never had an issue with any of the bosses in the story far, but with this one, after over at least two dozen tries, and hours of grinding to get a full 40 team I still failed. Today I tried the fight with this strategy and passed it on first try. Thank you for allowing me to continue enjoying the story!
I'm pretty sure this dude is the hardest fight in the game ignoring cheeses. Maybe with specific units you can wreck him, but otherwise all I can say is good luck.
I’d say Ahab and her crew is almost unquestionably worse to deal with. Assist Defense and Assist Attack are brutal, and the crew even without those two abilities hurt. Ricardo is mainly just a DPS check.
@@EternalTheStormKingI have been trying to use Wild Hunt Heathcliff for the fight but didn’t know that you can use Ishamael to absorb that damage like that. I will try that now.

this is because ishmael isn't allowed to die in order for the cutscene using the premade sprites to happen. so she gets a hidden buff where she's effectively immortal.
This single fight, was the ONLY moment this game made me rage from the unfairness of it. Cuz at the moment you get to this fight you can't level up any further so you're pretty much fucked unless you cheese or wait weeks to do MDs. Thanks for the guide
it took me QUITE a few tries to do this (I dont have any friends who play limbus a lot so i had to grind for Nclair myself and after MANY more failed attempts grind for Lantern too.) BUT HOLYYY CRAP, after two attempts after getting Lantern I GOT IT!!!! Thank you so much this was a LIFE saver
got it on a 2nd try, 1st one my nclair got 3 heads on s3 with -25 sanity, I thought of running my mvp ids comp with slosh ishmael and hoping let her take all the focus while my team does dmg but I didn't have her on uptie 4 so I thought I might be stuck for a little longer or unless I get lucky and get mentor meur, thanks for the guide you saved me like good 5 days of waiting
It was through watching this video that I realized that the fight ends when Ricardo uses his finisher move rather than when he’s defeated and that I had nearly finished the fight before, but had reset before that could happen because I thought he had to be killed. Dang, I’m an idiot, I’m glad I watched this video. I unfortunately don’t have a support Nclair, but the tip about Ishmael refusing to die is super useful!! Edit: Managed to find someone with Nclair to add me! Wish me luck, guys!! :]

Tried this strat, didn't have a support so farmed MD to get my own N-Clair, got him to lvl 39 uptie 4. Took my time watching where the arrows went and was finally able to beat this B.B. Great video

Hey thank you for making this video, I got incredibly frustrated that my level 40's couldn't win because they were slash based. This worked on my second try. (I got RNG Cucked on the boss the first time)
This saved my game, i had given up trying to beat him but this worked! It took three trys because Sinclair would not corrupt in the early stages so Ishmale would get staggered during the last stage and ruin everything because she had too much health.

Just did this first try with my freshly leveled-up NClair, and I didn't have Lantern. He did go into panic after staggering the boss, but the next turn I had 3 S3s lined up and finished easily. Thanks for this strat, I really hate the fact that this fight forces you to use Ishmael (I don't like this character) and doesn't even level her up like Yi Sang in the previous chapter, just gives her this scuffed immortality.

Thanks heaps for this guide. Stopped using a full team once i saw this since game doesn't make it clear that Ishmael cant die. Also because full team here actually just feels detrimental lmao I ended up using a support Nsinclair but started with LCCB Ish + Nfaust. Definitely winnable but its too RNG. Just cbf restarting constantly because of the first two waves taking ages (was so close tho). I feel this boss is made really anti fun because of the stupid counter-attack. They obviously want you to nuke him hard in one turn but counter-attack move makes it really RNG since you depend on Ishmael speed being faster than your nuker and if not then its gg. If they removed that this fight would be alot better designed
I have to add that Sinclair pretty much needs to have an ego other than his base ego so that he can distort when his sanity drops to zero. Otherwise he'll almost always have a panic attack right as Ricky Coupons enters his vulnerable phase and screw the whole thing up.

I started playing Limbus Company a month ago and really liked, but this stage made me feel genuine rage and now I question the logic behind Project Moon when they were creating Ricardo. Like, what new players are supposed to do if not to cheese this fight???? (So far I only have worshop Rodya as someone who can be a blunt dps, but thankfully my friend has Ncorp Sinclair)
Did as advised; Sinclair staggered Ricardo during his buff phase(Which you said you COULD go in on that turn), went Ego Meltdown or whatever next turn, failed to do enough damage with his only 2(Why only two? hell if I know), attacks. Buffed Ricardo dunked him into the god damn ocean.
Even with this cheese strat i still lose. About 20 times now whenever i get to the section where Ricardo uses the AoE (Hair Coupon attack) my Nclair gets destroyed, either by getting put into a stagger threshold or getting panicked the turn directly after.
I did not realise it was 50% to win... I COULD HAVE BEATEN HIM FIRST TRY IF I JUST UNGA BUNGA WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE. He was basically 51% when he shockwaved...
i was struggling and getting ready to grind for better ids and to level them up but instead watched this and got it first try average pm balance momento/average cheese momento
