Very good unplugged version of this song. Never thought that Megadeth would do this. Kudos to them for doing so. The first 8 Megadeth albums sound great in original sound. The remasters bring out some things in the albums I could not hear before. The music is more in your face. Extra songs, alternate press mixes and new liner notes are all nice touches to already epic albums. However, Cryptic should have been left alone. It sounded kick ass on original release.
unplugged is basically semi acoustics plugged in so people can hear them throughout the room, but with the exception of any effect. ie. no distortion and such. If they were entirely unplugged half the room would be like... "wtf?" and the rest would have to sharpen their ears to get anything out of the experience :p
That was awesome! And I don't think that people should compare the electric version with the acoustic version. They are both very good but in different ways. Hands up to Megadeth! Rock on!
yer the solo is almost spot on from the album and it is firstly hard on an electric and secondly much much much harder on an acoustic. ali has my full respect and so do all megadeth in fact :)
