@@AndrewAMartin I’ve never heard about any of that and I’m a pretty big fan of both Cetera and Chicago.
According to the interviews and documentaries I’ve seen, Peter wanted a break from constantly touring & a solo career (like Phil Collins had with Genesis) outside Chicago but they refused to let him do one in 1986. So he naturally got miffed at them and left.

I miss the summer of 1984. Being 18 going on 19, hanging out at the shopping mall, talking to your friends on the phone, video game arcades, MTV, occasionally sneaking into the cinema, Spencer’s Gifts adult back room, the pretzel shop, a girl who caught your eye at the mall, and last but certainly not least, FM radio. If you couldn’t buy the album you copied it from the radio to a good cassette tape.
      Happier times back then.
The video was very well done, especially the editing with the opening percussion part. The timing was perfect.

The Google Earth pics only go back to 1994 (10 years after this) and even by then the Texaco was gone, and it looks to be a recycling center now, but if you match everything else up, its very recognizable.
