Cal Kestis is at least 13 years old during Order 66 as a Padawan (Jedi Knights/Masters were not allowed to take Jedi younglings younger than the age of 13 as their Padawans, and Cal appears to be very young and at the beginning of his training). If we stick to that, adding 19 years to ANH, makes him 22 in 0 BBY/ABY. If Cal is 30 in 8 ABY Mando, that's just about right.

      *Spoilers - Jedi Survivor:*
Upon joining the Mantis crew, *Kata Akuna* quickly settled into her new life and family. She decided that she wanted to be a *botanist* when she was older thanks to Pili's guidance, but equally considered becoming a *pilot or chef* due to Dritus' influence. She was not afraid of Merrin and asked the Nightsister to teach her how to dance, and also how to fight in case she was alone. Merrin agreed and joked that Kata must then teach Dritus what she learned. She found Merrin and Dritus's bickering humorous but always knew they were good friends. Kata also picked up on Merrin's fondness for Kestis.

Neel is _confirmed Not to be_ the same species as our *Ortolan,* Max Rebo.
*"In response to fan debate as to whether Neel was a Ortolan, Leland Chee of the Lucasfilm Story Group confirmed Neel's species was its own alien race."*

I have to be honest at first I had no interest in Skeleton Crew but after I started hearing rumors that Cal Kestis might be in it, got me rethinking that I might go ahead and watch it.

I'm at a 9.5 on the excitement meter, for Skeleton Crew. Hearing that Our adult main character is being described as, "a new kind of Jedi", gives me the idea that Jude Law's character may have never been trained in The Force within either The Jedi Order or at The Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Given that the character seems to be at the height of middle age, he may have been only 20, when The Clone Wars began. Or, maybe "Jod Na" is in fact a Jedi Shadow, (which comes from The EU) who got separated from The Order, during the chaos of TCW and Order 66? Or, perhaps, he was a Force-sensitive, who hadn't been discovered by The Jedi. Maybe (to sound like Hondo for a moment) Jod Na is a Pirate Jedi/Force-user (using his abilities for his and his allies gain, regardless of morality). That would SCREAM Dave Filoni's fingerprints. I believe, UNLIKE WITH, THE ACOLYTE, Dave Filoni's position as CCO, starts with this particular live-action work. We can clearly see the deference Watts and Ford have to him, and how he guides their storytelling/world-building, along w/ Jon Favreau. Yes, I most definitely want/hope to see Maz Kanata in The Mandoverse, esp. in Skeleton Crew. I wouldn't be surprised -- AT ALL -- if Maz knows Luke, Leia, Ahsoka, "Jod Na", and even Cal Kestis, by the time of The Mandalorian. BTW: I absolutely believe Wim is Force-sensitive, esp. based on a revealed clip during the filming of the series 2 years ago. My hope would be a twist where all 4, in some different minor way, have nascent Force abilities. Combined, their powers would be the equivalent of a Jedi Padawan. Yes, I would love Cal Kestis to show up in live-action within The Mandoverse, and even in his own series. Wow! There's going to be a The Bad Batch comic series? Cool. Wonder if any of the events of this comic story has implications for what happens in future Animated and live-action works depicting the members of Clone Force 99? Some of this new lore could color how We see Omega's life in the future. I really enjoyed, SW: Rebuilding The Galaxy. #MTFBWY

@josephricci6255 That tease makes me even more intrigued to discover this character, in December. It must be significant, for Jon Favreau to include him and all of these new characters in The Mandoverse, inc. his 2026 movie.
