Hey Aluxers, who's your fashion ICON? Most Expensive Shoes for Women: ruclips.net/video/j7DzJTMDTPE/видео.html Most Extravagant Fashion Shows: www.alux.com/extravagant-fashion-shows/
If you would have done a better research you would have known that the colour of her Manolo Blahnik's was made especially for her skin tone. Seems like your editors just watched the 73 questions edition about her.
+Sabastian Wintour Not one single pair of her shoes I saw her in matched her skin tone at all.I also find it ridiculous that someone who has never changed her appearance could have ever made it in such a fashion forward existence. She seems like a sad,and lonely woman to me.
She was fired from Harpers Bazaar, she left from Harpers and Queen in London when she was passed over for the position of editor in chief. She then moved to the states and got a job at Hapers Bazaar where she was fired after about 9 months according to most sources for pushing the envelope too far for the 1970's US fashion magazine scene
The only reason I watched this because I recognized her from watching Tennis and she's always by the player's box. but I never realized that she was a fashion icon. you always learn something new everyday.
In my personal opinion, she doesn't. She is a fashion icon and that's why you missed a really important fact about her. She was the inspiration for the film "The devil wears Prada"
Any fan or admirer of Anna must watch The September Issue and The First Monday of May. The first about her work in Vogue and her personal life. The second about her lead in the Met Gala. The woman showed up to work at 4 am after the Met Gala!!!. Her work ethic is outstanding. She's in her late 60's. I know a former designer for Oscar de la Renta. He said she's very professional and respectful in the work environment.
Her daughter even said that she is very punctual, goes to bed at 10 wakes up at 5, stay at the parties for 15 minutes only This woman is nerve of steel, no wonder everyonw in fashion world really respects her.
Anna has admitted in an interview with James Corden that she has never even met Bob Marley. Unfortunately, it looks like one cannot trust those who say they know something you don't...
I love Anna...so stylish and a great model to follow...love everything she does because such a role model for girls to follow...made her own way thru life to become a fashion icon...just a great article..thank you
She is too old fashion... I just canceled my Vogue magazine after two years of looking into the same old models with the same face and clothes that make no sense but in a runway show. Every other page is trying to sell you a watch, a car, or a perfume. Very little in the Vogue magazine is actually about fashion design, tendency or style. Vogue needs a new editor with a fresher take and who embraces diversity in fashion.
Paula Olliver Who cares! Get a life. Now we have all these leftist, know-it-alls who would dictate what fashion should be, and they don't even know how to wash their own clothes.
Claire McNabb The general fashion industry criteria for presenting the collection of the designer, is about being tall (at least 5'11 and 6') thin and clean facial skin. It has nothing to do with the everyday woman.
I really like her, she takes a while to know, never met her but I totally get her lack of patience with idiots and in fashion there are a TON of them. She has faught to get to the top and as an icon cannot readilly be replaced. God Bless Anna Wintour xo
I admire anna wintour . However, i do believe vogue has always frequently featured the same type of woman: thin and white. It would be nice if vogue and designers realized that curvy women and women of color enjoy fashion as well.
See my parents said that it is a flaw of mine that I always have an opinion on everything and that I would bicker with people whenever I had the chance to. Turns out my life hero loves people who are opinionated and can carry out casual debates 💜
She recently admitted on The Late Late Show with James Corden, that she has actually in fact, never met Bob Marley...so she put that rumor to bed quickly.
All I know about Wintour are three things: One is all the pictures I have seen of her, two is the movie with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway and three she did not successfully replace Diana Vreeland.
2. The Vogue cover (Nov 88') was Ph #PeterLindbergh / Mo #MichaelaBercu / Styled by CCD - #CarlyneCerfdeDudzeele / whom described wearing Haute Couture head to toe was démodé. So, CCD styled Haute Couture (Lacroix) with denim (Guess) for a modern look. AW - #AnnaWintour loved the image and decided that would be the direction for her launch Cover issue as it broke all the rules about fashion, mixing high and low at the time. #ICONIC
I'd noted that she wore the same shoe style with exception of boots. And yes, l love her style of dressing and do hope that one day she'll change her mind about wearing furs. But on the whole, l admire the Scorpio. 😊👠💄💋🕶
I have the biggest smile on my face right now, my life goal is become friends with Anna Wintour. I’m only sixteen years old, but I plan on going into fashion.
You have to be prepared for it. Heart Evangelista a Filipino fashion icon and socialite met her during the 2022 Fashion Week in Paris for lunch and pictorial and she was like : "Anna was stressed, I am shocked"
I relate with the disagreeing quality. Because whoever disagrees makes me feel is present. And gives me different perspective i wasnt aware of. And we then work on what works best with both my and that perspective and we come up with brilliant ideas! Unlike when everyone agrees and only my ideas goes forward. No. Team work is meant to be several brains working together. So YES! I relate with this one bcs it makes sense.
The captions on this video are so badly placed within the frame! It's most notable in the section about shoes, when the caption blocked all of the shots of THE SHOES. Ditto with other sections, but this one was super annoying. Agree with all of the other comments about the script and research.
Fashion Icon is an illusionary position, as is "fashion" in general. Nothing seen in vogue is made for everyday living, not even nightlife. I don't think she has a good eye. I think she is self-involved and full of herself in a world that has little to do with real life. People make up their own idea of fashion...fashion on this level is more like an attempt at making an artpiece. To be worn. Not bowed down to.
9:14 this is incorrect. Anna Wintour herself said that she never meet Bob Marley personally. Watch the RUclips video - spill your guts or fill your guts - with James Corden and Anna Wintour and you will see her telling him that she never actually meet him
she needs to follow her fashion in the mag she reps. I can’t follow a fashion designer who dose not follow the vogue style it’s like seeing the 1980s. I have seen these don’t let my look go. And angry haters I don’t give a damn about her/him fo
Ironically, my teenager has no idea nor cares about Vogue. Interesting how these icons age. She will attach herself to young starlets to well be "seen". As she ages, she will need to bring new life into it so it will appear to a younger audience. I also find it interesting how names like Nordstrom, Macy's, Fifth Avenue, are not identifying with the younger generation. I don't agree with many of the styles of the younger kids but I must admit I'm starting to think the younger generation is/are the ones who drive fashion. They always want to be different from their Mom. What's really interesting is when you see old trends become new again.
Hey Aluxers, who's your fashion ICON?
Most Expensive Shoes for Women: ruclips.net/video/j7DzJTMDTPE/видео.html
Most Extravagant Fashion Shows: www.alux.com/extravagant-fashion-shows/
Alux.com Anna Wintour is my fashion icon. Well, Miranda Priestly actually. HAHAHA
Alux.com hey alux, love your videos I've been watching for a long time ❤️ please can you do Karl Lagrefeld next ✨💎
Tom Ford of course.
Of course Karl Lagerfeld
What?
Good to know you guys watched the "73 questions with Anna Wintour" video.
literally was thinking the same thing
If you would have done a better research you would have known that the colour of her Manolo Blahnik's was made especially for her skin tone. Seems like your editors just watched the 73 questions edition about her.
Sebastian Wintour This whole channel is just wannabe bull shit
I wouldn't say that. There is interesting content but a lot of research could've been done much better.
TRUEEEEE
+Sabastian Wintour Not one single pair of her shoes I saw her in matched her skin tone at all.I also find it ridiculous that someone who has never changed her appearance could have ever made it in such a fashion forward existence. She seems like a sad,and lonely woman to me.
So true.
She was not fired from Harper's Bazaar. She was fired from "Harper's and Queen" which is a British magazine.
It is the same magazine, first known as Queen Magazine, then as Harper's & Queen, now known as Harper's Bazaar.
C.Gianni Martin So, she wasn't fired from Harper's Bazaar as it wasn't HB back then.
And only a total DB would even bother making your comment. AH.
Yes, she was fired from U.S. Bazaar. I was speaking of her time in U.K.
She doesn't like wearing clothes head to toe black - another interesting fact you have missed 😊
Bry T yet shes done it!
Bluci T ahhhh loved this fact
No, in that video she only said it in that particular season. You didn't understand. She didn't say "ever" or "at all"
Likely because they didn’t want it to be too obvious that they’re essentially regurgitating Anna’s answers from her 73 questions video.
Abigail Eldritch that’s not true at all.. she meant ever.
It’s actually about her.
the title is 15 things u didn't know about Anna , not what you know
But anna Wintour is ugly. Miranda is way above anna aunty 🤣
😢
Any fan or admirer of Anna must watch The September Issue and The First Monday of May. The first about her work in Vogue and her personal life. The second about her lead in the Met Gala. The woman showed up to work at 4 am after the Met Gala!!!. Her work ethic is outstanding. She's in her late 60's. I know a former designer for Oscar de la Renta. Benjamin Roman
I saw and enjoyed 'The September Issue' too.
Her daughter even said that she is very punctual, goes to bed at 10 wakes up at 5, stay at the parties for 15 minutes only This woman is nerve of steel, no wonder everyonw in fashion world really respects her.
She might have an S-class available 24/7, but the car shes getting into in the video is a Jaguar XJL
Hahaha cause fashion
british supporting the british
Hi Alux, any chance you're looking for writers? Some of the dialogue is very repetitive. I enjoy the message, but I think it could written better.
+Chloe Gale sure, send us a message at alux.com/contact, we'll give you a shot!
Did you get the job
Yeah man give us an update
Did you get the job?
Anna has admitted in an interview with James Corden that she has never even met Bob Marley.
Unfortunately, it looks like one cannot trust those who say they know something you don't...
actually $200,000 a year for her clothing allowance is quite small. Her wardrobe that she wears for the entire week alone costs more than $200k.
I loved everything she was wearing. It was interesting, elegant and eclectic...so silence to the hater with no taste.
Bravo!!!!
Improve your standards.
5:04 did she really say the same thing rephrased
Yeah she did😭😂
I love Anna...so stylish and a great model to follow...love everything she does because such a role model for girls to follow...made her own way thru life to become a fashion icon...just a great article..thank you
If you read the Wikipedia page and listen to this video it's the exact same even the same adjectives and adverbs and the same flow of ideas
Anna aunty is not worth idolizing.
Ok, that explains it.
I adore Anna Wintour........and anyone who loves Bob Marley has to have a most beautiful spirit!!
One of the queens of fashion
Two adorable children? Her son is 33 and her daughter 31. How precious!
Niceto Darcey Festin 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Niceto Darcey Festin 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Paula Olliver true
Paula Olliver Who cares! Get a life. Now we have all these leftist, know-it-alls who would dictate what fashion should be, and they don't even know how to wash their own clothes.
Paula Olliver What diversity? Half of the runway models on every fashion show are black men and women. Stop being desperate to collect "likes".
@@katerinapatiniotis5598 Stick thin models do not represent the majority of women out there.
Claire McNabb The general fashion industry criteria for presenting the collection of the designer, is about being tall (at least 5'11 and 6') thin and clean facial skin. It has nothing to do with the everyday woman.
Who on earth did the research for this? Not only was she not born in 1939, she was let go from Harper's and Queens, not Harper's Bazaar.
Brandon Simmons she’s 78???!!! No way
The video says 1949
the video says 1939
Yep I caught onto that also. There’s no way she was born in 1939.
Background music is too loud but the funniest thing about this video is showing pinterest as images source, it's like if u say u got news from google.
oh finally she's the queen and inspiration.
+jaymin parikh true!
This has lies all over it. She admitted that she never met Bob Marley
Maybe you can do "15 Things You Didn't Know About JK Rowling"
Ralf Tan this please!
YES!
Yes please
I really like her, she takes a while to know, never met her but I totally get her lack of patience with idiots and in fashion there are a TON of them. She has faught to get to the top and as an icon cannot readilly be replaced. God Bless Anna Wintour xo

You just copied this from the 73 questions of Vogue 🤦🏻♀️
I think it's so funny how the intro has a clip with ice being dropped into wine 😂
2:15 pinky toes sticking out is not a good look lady.
Miss Vee I saw that too lol gross
I thought I was the only one who was bothered by it
Lol
Not a fan of these shoes. I feel Anna is too chic for them but whatever
See my parents said that it is a flaw of mine that I always have an opinion on everything and that I would bicker with people whenever I had the chance to. Turns out my life hero loves people who are opinionated and can carry out casual debates 💜
Love her but she's a nepotism baby. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but she had a lot of help.
Absolutely
Squizree exactly a privileged child and that’s the reason she’s so stubborn and demanding and nothing else
She recently admitted on The Late Late Show with James Corden, that she has actually in fact, never met Bob Marley...so she put that rumor to bed quickly.
first thing i do not know about Anna Wintour is who is Anna Wintour
She's the chief and(asshole) editor of vougue magazine
Vogue's editor-in-chief for 30 years.
I would love to see a Jane Austen-inspired *Vogue* photoshoot!
Agreed, I am a total nut for Jane Austen.
How about doing a video on unknown facts about Kate Winslet??
Wintour is definitely a power player. My style icon is Jackie Kennedy.
Bravo Mrs A. Wintour !
She's one of a kind.
#2 The model looks like Gigi Hadid 💖
It is they redid that look with Gigi for an anniversary
She was!👍
At 2:52, she looked so like Gigi hadid
Jaimol John because it is haha
Homeland is not a Netflix show, it’s not even on Netflix.
Blake lively as a great actress?? Oh well
Muriyanto Muriyanto 🤣🤣🤣
Muriyanto Muriyanto Blake was in Oliver Stone's film Savages in 2012 and she was pretty good. She was also in a Woody Allen film in 2015.
patr70 the last time i watched her on GG wasn't that great (the acting) lol maybe she improved
to be fair... It's been 10 years since GG...
Muriyanto Muriyanto 😂😂😂😂😋
All I know about Wintour are three things: One is all the pictures I have seen of her, two is the movie with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway and three she did not successfully replace Diana Vreeland.
She replaced Grace Mirabella, Vogue's former long term editor-in-chief.
I find this woman very intriguing.
Overrated , Overpaid and Vogue wasn't stagnant it was a fashion magazine until she made it into a buy a cover and article for celebrity's.
orlysanti sad thing is people look up to her as if she some kind of iconic woman
Do you know anything about fashion?
Roger Federer is everyone's favourite.
Louise Ricketts nop not everyone likes Federror.
I wonder why she has not designed her own clothes line?! 😱 greetings from Dubai.
Because she is dumb.
Maybe because she is not a designer, but a writer and editor in the fashion industry.

Hell, I'd smile with him too! 😘

I worked for her many years ago. She is quite as nasty as the Miranda character.
At least Miranda looked better than Nuclear Wintour does!
Why does what feel like a lie?
k hughes Yeah... me too. 😂😂😂
Why does this feel like a lie?
que essa pessoa trabalhou pra ela né? dãããã
mas sei la ne? quando ve é true hahahaha
The beginning is straight up lifted from wikipedia lmao
Can you please do a brand video on Armani including the sub brands of them too like Emporio Armani and Georgio Armani and Armani Jeans.
Taqbir Islam junior Armani 💜🐶
She was actually stays in Chanel’s suite in Ritz Paris when in Paris.
nice you can watch 73 questions with vogue lmao
Anna was not born 1939 ..... !?!?! She was born 1949!

It would be ground breaking if designers would make clothes that actually fit womens bodies.
I'm scared of Spiders so much that I once woke my mom at 2 in the morning to kill it
What is going on with this narrator? Is it computer programmed or the fault of poor editing? Very weird.

she looks so much alike judge judy.. ha ha ha
15 things about Alux!!!!!!!!!!!
9:14 this is incorrect. Anna Wintour herself said that she never meet Bob Marley personally.
Watch the RUclips video - spill your guts or fill your guts - with James Corden and Anna Wintour and you will see her telling him that she never actually meet him
5 hours and 47 comments it tells you so much.I don't have to go into details really.
Just seen a show Where she says that she never got to meet Bob Marley. So one of these facts is partially wrong.
2:15 Anna's toes sticking out of the sides of her shoes 🤣 ummm very fashion forward?
You have beautiful voice and pronunciation) Hello from Ukraine))
at 4:45 She loves it when people disagree and argue with her..🙄
Wtf she would fire someone who challenged her wtf she talking bout
Mmmm she actually stated recently she never met Bob Marley
Anna strongly reminds me of Edna Mode from the Incredibles
literally just watch 73 questions with Anna Wintour!!
bruh "what you didnt know is she had the same bob haircut since she was 14 years old" , immediately after repeats the same exact thing.
She actually never met Bob Marley, as she stated on Late Night with James Cordon
She actually never met Bob Marley. Her own words on her appearance on James Corden's show.
She actually never met Bob Marley
msfanyafanya yes, its a hoax. she confirmed it on james corden show.
Homeland is on Showtime, not Netflix.
The Bottom line is that ANNA WINTOUR is Dope!!!
Donna forte..🤗🤗..
you need another writer
She should launch her own clothes line
Wow Anna wintour ad scared me
A picture of Wintor & Michelle Obama when she mentions Wintor is afraid of spiders. OBVIOUS!
She's an icon❤️❤️
She's FIERCE and FABULOUS!
Anna Wintour actually never met Bob Marley. It's all just speculation
Dressed like church secretary sunday's best nice bangs! ❤️
🙏🏻 You’re know can Fashion leader and you’re style Anna.
Born 1939? Wow! Great facelifts!
She is plastic
Born 1949
she needs to follow her fashion in the mag she reps. I can’t follow a fashion designer who dose not follow the vogue style it’s like seeing the 1980s. I have seen these don’t let my look go. And angry haters I don’t give a damn about her/him fo
Lol
DO NAOMI CAMPBELL !!
My queen
I think you must make the most expensive coins made by empires of all time
Ironically, my teenager has no idea nor cares about Vogue.
Wow I just knew her, and today is her birthday. 😂
