- The Jewel at Singapore's Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex directly in the center of the airport. The Jewel's centerpiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, that is surrounded by a terraced forest setting. Jewel opened in 2019 and has quickly become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. Jewel has over 280 retail and dining outlets, including a number of high-end brands. There is also a food court with over 100 food stalls. Jewel Changi Airport is a great place to spend a few hours before or after your flight.

Hi Chris. Thanks for sharing the walk tour. I never get tired of seeing this airport.I'm sure you've discovered something new every time you visit. Definitely worth a visit even if you're not leaving from this airport.Take care.
I remember staying at one of the Yotelair hotels when I stayed the night at Istanbul Airport last September, and they were quite nice. The Jewel looks absolutely incredible with all the different things offered there. I could easily spend an entire day at the airport and not get bored!
I haven't stayed at a Yotel yet. Glad to hear they are nice!
Truly, an amazing place to visit. 🎉.
You go T2 take a look will surprise you!
This is a stunning airport
It sure is!
this is my favourite airport in the world . its simply amazing . the presentation is excellent. the waterfall is so relaxing. did you buy some nice gold from the machine ?
No gold this time 😀
Nice vlog Hero!! 😂
Great review of the airport terminals, I’m staying in the airport for two days on the way to london
Nice!
Did you do the mazes and other attractions? Looks amazing ❤
Awesome job chris happy thanksgiving
Great video! Thank you!
Can’t wait to visit!
Question:
If you have a long layover(18hours) and you want to see the Jewel,
Can you go out to visit the jewel for a few hours and then enter back into the airside airport?
Or do they make you wait till it’s 3-4 hours before your flight to re-enter?
You were walking through other people's photos! lol. I love everything about this airport. I always have a great time in Singapore, including at their amazing airport.
Thanks for this amazing video. Where or how far is the Crowne Plaza hotel?
Looks amazing. I wonder what it looks like from the outside.
You seem to travel to Singapore a lot, You must love it! I have 2 questions for you....I am mobility compromised and need a scooter or wheelchair. Is Singapore mobility friendly? The other question is have you been to Jurong Park and was it worth the visit?
Yes.. Singapore is mobility friendly.. wide sidewalks. Lots of elevators. The Bird Park just moved locations.. it's now on the Zoo complex.. but no. I've not been to the new one
We have an upcoming 5 hourd layover in Singapore in the evening. Do you know if we can get to the Jewel to see the waterfall without going thru security?
The waterfall is outside security. So probably not
Even the escalators are backwards (from an American point of view)?
Strangely enough, the only place I’ve ever won a claw game, and I’ve done so a few times, is at Dave and Busters, of all places…
Lucky you! 😀
When was this filmed? I was there a week ago and didn't see the giant Mickey Mouse!
Thanks for another great video Chris! Happy Thanksgiving!
Now the display should be Super Mario.
Hi, Chris. If people walk up to you because they recognize you, do you then stop filming or greet them on video? Is that something you dislike?
Hi Leo -- depends what I'm doing whether I stop or keep going.. but I will definitely acknowledge them.. and I'm always happy to people to say hi!
I wonder what my fellow US based Muricans think when they see Asian airports like this 😂 😂 😂
You shouldn't have to pay to go on that bridge up there! This isn't a skyview tower! I'll wait 20 minutes to do it for free!
American airports, especially in the New York City area, are way behind!
They sure are!
there is no budget terminal at Changi Airport
LAX is a third world country in an airport
Gotta agree with you. I'm used to the Aussie and Changi airports and I was so surprised LAX looked so third world.
WTF u r in Changi airport again.
