When I first got these credits for some reason I teared up? I think I got hit with so much nostalgia for when I first discovered Monster Prom and it felt like coming home to these characters 🥺
Maybe someone will read this and can relate. This animation combined with the song stirs up so many things in me. I‘m 26 now and listening to the music and playing the game makes me reminisce about my youth. The youth I never really had in the sense that I went out, unafraid, in search of risk and moving through life boldly. I had great friends, still have, but never really went to seek out life. I waited for it to happen and it never did. So many stories untold because I did not write them. I had fun. But it was never risky. Never bold. Ready to start but never able to. I took my youth for granted and now that I‘m an adult, I wish I could go back to relive those years. But this song, this animation, this game gives me strength to be unafraid now. I can still seek out the adventure I never had as a teenager. I can still travel, make new friends, party, love. Lastly, this song makes me think of one gathering I had with my friends (that are not my friends anymore) in my early 20s. We just wanted to celebrate a birthday and met up on a hill to make a campfire, drink and camp out. We spent the entire night outside, looking at the city on the horizon, just enjoying the moment. It was a cool summer night and a million mosquitos were buzzing around. I still cherish this moment so much. And I hope there are many moments like this to come. Until then, I will live with less fear. I will be brave.
We are so incredibly happy that something we created resonated so strongly with you. In the end we create stories that aim to connect with people. Yes, life is still unraveling for all of us and every day can bring adventures, emotions, and new people to our lives. We gotta savor every day while we cherish everything that has become the mythology of our lives. A toast to life! Shall we all enjoy many adventures to come!

"Champions of Red Wine" almost brings me to tears when I hear it, the implications and associations of such gleeful times had in the presence of those I hold dearest to my heart. The game is super fun to play, but the credits are one of the best parts. It does such a great job of closing your current game and getting you hyped to do it again, great end-of-summer-vacation vibes, you're already nostalgic for what you were doing 10 minutes ago.
Honestly, when I saw the credits I was so amazed, it gave me so much serotonin and the ending of them all together is my background. A 10/10 for me, and I only got to play 3 games so far and on the third finally wasn’t rejected and got a secret ending with Milo. Just saying you all did a spectacular job and I’m so glad I was a Kickstarter, because this exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to everything else ❤️
