Hello again. I have had a go at the curly top and it has not worked out very well. If I cut most of the tail off can I reshape the stub I have left and put wet clay to the dry clay (drying for 3 days) giving me a new shape using PVA glue? Thank you.
Hello..no worries. I would suggest that you cut the curly top that didn't work for you. Shape the curly with compressed aluminium foil, attach it to dry part of mushroom roof with glue gun then cover the aluminium foil with air dry clay. This way, you will have strong structure for the curly top. All the best.

bonjour, j'utilise de la pâte à papier maison avec du papier de soie. Vous avez raison de dire que ce type d'argile ne durera que quelques jours. quand il est mouillé. Faites seulement une petite quantité suffisante pour votre métier.
How does this not crack if it's true air dry clay? What type of clay are you using? If I may ask. Everytime I use air dry clay for fairy houses on glass it shrinks and cracks so I'm left filling the cracks

thanks. I would brush the clay with old brush and water to smooth the surface. For bigger clay surface, you can use sprayer to spray the water on the clay and then smooth it with hands or bigger brush.

Can someone help please,I’ve made a couple of fairy houses but they cracked on drying. What did I do wrong
If you use air dry clay and it dries too fast, it will crack. Try adding layers of tissue with glue to patch the cracks

No, I don't use wire as you can see in my video.. It's just aluminium foil😊
