    Hi Chris, I love the twin puffers. They are going to look great in the cylinder tank. The new 75 for your customer is fabulous. So much more room to add to now because of the unfortunate tank leak. Thanks for the update on the shop clean-up.

    Thank you for doing another canister filter video. Like I said in your last canister filter video canister filters get such a bad rep in the reefing hobby for some reason. I love my fx6. It sits under a 65 gallon mixed reef. I actually just started a 35 gallon cube with a fluval 407. Keep up the great work! I love the contect you up out

    you can use one of those electrical surface skimmers (just by means of example: skim350 by Eheim, but there are now more powerfull ones on the market)

    @andibandi1190 Год назад +1

    Intake and Output of the filter are on the same end of the aquarium? Usually these are on opossing ends.

    @andibandi1190 Год назад +1

    you could add one of those lengty pumps, like a tube with two halves (citing here one just by means of example: Jebao MCP Smart Cross Flow Pumpe)

    oving those Canary blennies - would they get along with my 2 Engineer gobies? I kept a 75 gallon FOWLR with anemones, christmas tree worms, feather dusters with fish etc, no corals this was back in the 90's - compact fluorescent s were the thing - i digress, that tank ran for over 7 years on an Eheim canister filter.

      @@aquariumservicetech2891 I always thought they were good as a sump alternative AIOs were not available back then either so it made sense. Now on the new 100 gallon Neptunian Cube I am on week 3 of going no filter socks, letting the skimmer work more - and it is then a big refugium with chaeto and caulerpa in it/pods etc. So far so good.

    How big do the green spotted puffers get??
    Do you know whether theyd go for peppermint shrimp and/or clean up crew like snails?

    hello, without an skimmer this aquarium needs weekly water changes?

    More or less where are the nitrates usually in this tank and how much water change how often ?

    Hey i have a fluval fx4 full of seachem matrix and ceramic spheres on my 60 gallon. Is that good enough or should i add a hob protein skimmer ? Been running like this for 3 months now.

    • @aquariumservicetech2891
      @aquariumservicetech2891  10 месяцев назад

      It all depends how heavily stocked you plan on keeping your tank along with how often you do water changes. I’d test everything once a week and go by that.

    • @Coral-reef.
      @Coral-reef. 10 месяцев назад

      @@aquariumservicetech2891 got you. Its been 3 weeks since my last water change and my nitrates are at around 20 now so maybe time for another water change soon. Will a skimmer prolonge water change time ?

      @@Coral-reef. honestly it’ll help but if no3 is that high water change is your best bet.

    I would of just added a 2nd cannister filter then can alternate cleaning and get better filtration overall and flow
