    InTank has all sorts of chambers for dozens of tanks, I ordered their refugium and media tower for my old Biocube. Frogfish are cool. #AnglerFish

    Have you or your clients had long-term success with frogfish? I've heard they do well for 6 months or so and then die suddenly.

    I had the same but you dont need to break down the tank. Just go fishless for 90 day. Take that time to learn abouth coral and how to make then trive in your tank. Quarentine new fish before you put them in

    I've had those green hydroids, knockem down with a file fish. I had hydroids that turned into little upside down jellies in low flow hidden areas.

      They had a filefish but no such luck. That "jellyfish" stage is like a larva phase

    So funny I’ve been setting up the exact same reef tank the past few months. It definitely has some challenges however if your smart about the sump and under neath cabinet space I got 2 reactors and full size skimmer going. Also long nose hawkish is a great addition. So is a barbonius anthias, mine loves the deep tank

    Some monti caps would be great for the cliff style aquascape, if you could get some good light. They might shadow a bit as they grow though

      Sponges - bio media - filter pad- we clean it once a month because that’s how often we go.

    For the cylinder tank, a hawkfish of some sort would be neat. lots of levels in the rock work for one to perch. Some kind of sand sifting goby would be cool too. Note sure about light penetration in the tank, but if there's enough light up top for some plating monti that would be neat. some LPS could be nice as well mid-tank, hammers or goni, if the tank can accommodate. softies would probably be the safe bet though, nuclear green finger leather somewhere, maybe some willow toadstools, various colors of mushrooms, zoa garden.

      My guess would be consistent good water quality. Plenty of nutrients in the water column.

      It’s no cheat code unfortunately. It’s like asking how to make good food. There’s a million different ways to get great results. What works in my tank might work differently in yours. Research and stability are the key factors to get you headed in the right direction

    I know I don't have the best light for a saltwater tank but is a fluvel sea Marine 3.0 ok for easy-medium coral maybe even hard coral like Arcos

    real nice second tank, just goes to how a low cost tank can pop, yes you are quite right the first tank needs some more life weather coral or some different types of anemones .when are you going to gives an up date on your tanks, and frog fish , really enjoy your vids and the number of different you show,.👍

    Not the simplest I have the same tank but with a kessil a80 and a ai blade and no plumbing I use an aqua clear 70 as my algae scrubber and refugium and I got 3 soft coral frags and 2 bubble tip anems so far

    What a great video - loving the message. I am the world's most impatient person, but my 1.4year old build of my lagoon has taught me patience when it comes to corals. It started with softies and anemones and has now progressed to LPS,SPS and anemones and is actually easier to maintain as I don't have to trim the soft corals that can run wild. But totally agree with it should bring you joy and not stress you out. Slow and steady wins the race here!

    I would turn up the all blues to max on corner tank and or just buy black box eBay/Amazon light. There’s alot of great reef lights

      Unfortunately there’s not enough room for a black box. Lid is to close to the water. I think another ai should do the trick.
