It's fiction, of course. No woman in her right mind, especially a mature one, would ever have such a ridiculous presentation on a first date, or ever. On the other hand, it's good if people put their cards on the table and say what they really want early on, so no one wastes time, because life is short, and after 50 it's even shorter. Here is what actually happened to me in REAL life: I am in my 50s, and talked to a 52 year old man who wanted me to immediately meet him in Greece for a vacation of sex and adventure. lol Imagine the entitlement. Another guy wanted me to come over on the first date to eat pizza and watch Netflix and help him clean and organize, because he hadn't done it since his gf left him and he "really could use a woman's touch". Wow, I wonder what sort of classy lady would say yes to that. Another one was a very handsome and youthful UPS guy who asked me to meet him at an Italian restaurant, and because the place was very close to where I lived, I agreed. When I got there, he was already sitting at the table eating. He didn't even greet me, with his mouth and fingers all greasy he just pointed to the plate of food in front of me, saying he had ordered for me. lol Oh my goodness! And the best part is, the food was covered in cheese, and I am allergic to cheese. When they say that a woman has to kiss a lot of frogs before she kisses a prince, they are not exaggerating. Except that I am not kissing any frog, thank you.
Wow, thank you for sharing your experiences! It’s incredible how some people approach dating with such...unique ideas. Your stories are equal parts eye-opening and entertaining! You’re absolutely right-life is short, especially after 50, and it’s so important to put your cards on the table early to avoid wasting time. Your examples really highlight the importance of mutual respect and effort in dating, and it’s refreshing to hear someone who knows their worth and isn’t willing to settle for less. I love your sense of humor about it all-it’s the perfect way to navigate these 'frogs' while staying true to yourself. Wishing you all the best on your journey-you deserve nothing less than a 'prince' who truly values you!
great story quite realistic
Thanks!
