You don’t need the scan tool to pull codes on C5/C6 you can pull codes on the dash display.

And remember, always check to see what ever you touched you plugged back in. Most people have never seen the front of a Corvette. Thank you for chapter 6.

In the old days I would use a vacuum gauge to look for a miss. Great video. Thanks a lot.

Great video and channel. I replaced the high and low pressure ac lines that meet at the compressor, low pressure line requiring me to remove the exhaust manifold, torqued everything to spec on my way out, now I’m getting a pop or two and chuggy/misfire feeling at low rpm’s at 1st gear. I ordered new gasket. Since they’re crush gaskets it’s the only thing I can think to be the issue. What do you guys think..02 Z06

If you have a scan tool - Look at your fuel trims, see if one bank is way off compared to the other meaning error is getting into the oxygen and incorrectly influencing the oxygen sensor on that bank.

Can you make a video for the c5 on the secondary air pump. I have a check engine light, but I replaced the secondary air pump. I'm assuming the check valve is causing the current check engine light.

Pull the code (s) with the C5's diagnostics in the dash. Here's how. ruclips.net/video/bwbnzEAkpYc/видео.html

Hi I have an 81 corvette C3 with an LS1 swap from a corvette C5.it has a 4L60E transmission. I used to be able to launch and the wheels would spin no problem and take off fast. Recently it has been hesitating on acceleration with no more Launch at all like as if I’m taking off on a higher gear and slowly gain speed. no more launch at all. Any ideas on what you think it could be ? I would greatly appreciate your help thank you.

I fought a misfire for a few weeks, turns out it was too small of a plug gap on my tr55s.

I've changed my plugs and wires and THEN discovered a misfire ... Just because it is new does not mean it is good. I put old wires on 1 at a time no difference. 1 plug at a time 2 "new" did not fire properly. Creating the misfire. Dad said if it aint broke don't fix it when he heard me complaining about 3 pm after the 6 hours of wtf in the shop

Correction, GM LS coils are reliable, GM coils on the 3.6 DOHC motors are notoriously unreliable.

@@Toys4Life The person who created the image labeled "front of block" when actually that's the rear. you can notice it by looking at the position of the cam sensor and thats where the rear cover goes.
