WOW!!!! AUNT LYNDA!!!! I'm just now trying to catch up on all of my RUclips comments. Did you Google how to do this and find mine? Or did you go to my channel and find it? It's always good to know how I'm getting my views. We are thrilled to see your comment here! Hope my video helped you out!!!! ⭐️
Hi, Phil and we just got our whole system overhauled and found out why plumbers smile a lot. The check valve died in the well pump and the bladder died in the pressure tank and the pump replacers managed to clog the house up with the scale in the lines instead of flushing them to the outside of the well house because they were in a rush. We're all fixed now except the sink faucet but it's good enough till we can put one in ourselves or maybe a son-in-law like the last one. Plumbers need not apply. The Lord supplied money to fix it once but not to waste it on more. Once was enough so hope all is well there and is a LOT better here. Have a Jesus weekend and God Bless Yall!
This was incredibly helpful thank you so much! It's a lot less intimidating now! If you happen to know, what do I do if mine doesn't seem to have a water adjustment screw? My level seems ok before starting this process but my luck I'll need to know for future reference.
The original hexnut is completely different from the one that came with the replacement I purchased at Home Depot. The toilet gasket is supposed to fit over the hexnut and the tank is then lowered into the toilet. The gasket is NOT to be placed onto the toilet and the tank lowered onto it. It is impossible to fit the gasket over the hexnut I got at Home Depot since the that hexnut looks like a big nut and is not circular like the original. You MUST make sure the new hexnut matches the original one. If it doesn't, use the original hexnut.
My toilet is nearly 40yrs old and I couldn't find flush valve parts online so I emailed Mansfield and they were super helpful and the parts were really cheap and fit perfectly!
Thanks Phil!!!!! I replaced mine today, after I found the right tools among Ron's mess😅😅 Aunt Lynda
