I have just been experimenting with similar stuff. I did the single line cup version but put weights halfway up the pendulum. It makes a kind of chaos pendulum which gives you more random results rather than those repeating spiral grid patterns. Using different weights at different height makes all sorts of crazy chaos.

I love doing this. I did it once in a physics class while we were learning about pendulums, it was really cool, but my friends and I were covered in paint and so was half the classroom.

I actually like them dry better than wet! The blurring effect that has happened over time just makes them that much more interesting and unique. Looks almost like resin instead of acrylics!

This was such fun! :D Just as a note - the cracking happens sometimes because the ratio of paint/flow medium is off. If there is too much flow stuff I've found that the cracking happens. Also if you want the pretty colors to come back, if you varnish them they vibrancy returns. I don't know what would happen if you did resin on it, but I've heard that clear resin works well too!

At 21:33 anyone else think like it looked like space on the right side then the green made it look like it had meteoroids crashing into something and the red was the flames off them
To fix colors with flow acrylic, apply a clear varnish (or even resin, but I’ve never tried that). I’ve done several pieces and applied a varnish to make the colors more vibrant and the overall painting shiny. Just make sure to clean the canvas after your paint has fully dried (~4 days) and apply thin layers of varnish. Just know that varnish can cause the painting to be sticky, so don’t lean it on objects. Hang them or place them in a non-stick place. I tend to put poster board in between pieces to protect them from sticking.
That looked so fun! I wish I had the space to do something like that. Also taking pictures of the wet art and getting things made with it is amazing! I would not have thought to do that. I did not know Vistaprint did more than business cards.
I’m pretty sure this is their job now... They seem to have a ton of Patreon supporters, they have sponsors, and their content is pretty ideal for RUclips - family-family, wide appeal/audience... And the gaming channel... I am guessing they probably get enough funds/support that this is their full-time gig. I am a newer fan though so I haven’t heard them address it directly. This is just speculation. If so, good for them! :)
