You can definitely tell they were friends before they realized they were in love. 😍
Honestly really enhances my faith in love and in healthy relationships. Obviously we only know them as they are in front of the camera, nobody is perfect, but I do believe that there are things that just can't be faked.

@@Creepymusic782 , when I read your comment, an idea flashed in my mind. A set of Bob Ross inspired pillowcases, done with fabric paints, either for the bed, or on decorative throw pillows. There are so many things that they could use as a canvas for their work!

LOL IVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE ELSE DO THE SINGLE HAIR PAINTBRUSH THING! I do two hairs when i paint lighters cause it is just as thin but holds more paint. Make sure you wipe it off a lot, happy tiny painting!
Also tip: if you want an especially tiny detail sometimes you can make it work by doing the colors in reverse order. So like, I'll dot a black circle then let it dry and dot a colored circle on top slightly smaller so that it now has a veeeeery thin black outline around it :)

That brush is a whole new take on Bob's "three hairs and some air"😁
I do this, too! I use a few horse hairs (fresh off the horse) for painting doll faces.
But waiting for oil paint to dry is so time consuming

We always doubt ourselves doing these tutorials but in the end it works out just like Bob says it will!

You guys are slipping into a deep deep rabbit hole of mechanical keyboards and custom keycaps, and I'm 100% here for it. On a related note, you guys should definitely take a look at the "cats between keyboards" phenomenon, if yall aren't yet aware of why split keyboards are essential for cat owners. I'd love to see you build a split keyboard attached to a cat bed or something since you seem to love building stuff for joob :)

Those turned out SO GOOD that by the end I was flip-fliopping between what my favorite was. Katelyns looks very cohesive and soft but I love how vibrant and lively Evans looks, it's impossible to choose
I love how you guys dress up for Bob Ross, like you’re trying to impress him.
You guys should try painting minifigures for dnd or other miniature games. The building the model and then painting it to make it your own is super satisfying

3D printed Evan & Katelyn minifigs ftw
@divalea I think they would have fun with 3D printing a dnd model from like hero forge or something. That way they could easily print it, prime it and paint it with out to much extra hassle or needing to buy extra bits aside from like model paints.
Though having a model kit like the ones Games Workshop make where you have to snip out peices and glue them together is also a lot of fun. Though that requires a bit more materials (glue, sprue snips, the kit itself, ect) they would have to buy.

At the end with both keycaps, it looks so beautiful. Even though they were obviously painted by two different people with obviously different skill levels and ideas on how to do the assignment, they both just come out looking stunning together.
It seems like you guys would really enjoy miniatures!!! Maybe a mini workshop, with a mini project on the workbench? Seems like you two would get a real kick out of designing something small, cute and precise like that ☺️☺️☺️

If you end up doing this for fun I would really love to see a time-lapse of the keys you make! That might be a little easier than filming a whole video and it'd be very satisfying for us!
I prefer the full video process with the result at the end. The playful banter and watching them struggle is always a great treat

I painted this exact painting for the first time painting ever and I am surprised how at the end after it dries it comes all together and looks amazing. Throughout the whole thing, I thought my painting looked horrible and nothing like it should look but after it, all dried it looks so detailed and amazing. No one believes that it was my first time painting. I even used acrylic and none stretch canvas so everything was working against me 😂. I am so happy I painted it and I only tried it because Katelyn and Evan got me interested in Bob's tutorials.
This makes me unreasonably happy, I love how Bob-esque they came out!

Omg they turned out so well!! Great job guys! If you do this again, I bet you can find specialized miniature painting brushes at your local game store. The paints for, like Warhammer miniatures, might work well for this since they're intended to be used in teeny-tiny spots.
They came out SO good! I'm actually super impressed with Evan's single strand brush. That thing came in clutch for the finer details! Now to create an entire Bob Ross style keyboard! Could just be one big painting or a mosaic of little paintings!

Seeing the setting up and the artsy stuff combined in arts and crafts, I can confidently say Katelyn is the arts, Evan is the crafts.
Every video I watch of these two, it always seems to bring me joy, the love they have for each other reaches those on the other side of the screen, it's something so beautiful and wonderful to see and experience.

I love that you've gone for electronic microscope displays and specially modified brushes instead of, y'know, a magnifying glass and a games workshop brush set
Looks awesome! A tip for painting really fine details, "single hair" might seem the way to go, but in reality a good new round brush can have an incredibly fine tip and allows better control over the flow of paint. Look at what miniature painters (Warhammer and the like) use to paint eyes on 28mm models.
It would be really cool to see a keyboard where each key is made in a different art style and/or medium! So it’s like a tiny keyboard art museum ❤ absolutely loved this video!

I think a fun spin on this concept would be to line all of the keys for a keyboard together like a canvas then paint a bob ross painting over them so that they combine to make one full painting.

wow, I don't normally go in for custom keycaps, but these are by far the most amazing ones, other than the velvet ones maybe, much prettier.
Halfway through this video I got inspired to pull out the acrylic paints and canvas I bought the other day and paint a landscape. Of course Bob Ross techniques are meant for oil paint and certain brushes but I was still able to use some of his tricks to interpret a photo I had taken. Thanks for the inspiration!
I strongly believe that Bob would have a RUclips-Channel today and totally collaborate with all you other amazing creators and artists and if there is an afterlife, he probably is surrounded by trees, squirrels and happy little accidents and watches you two with delight, while trying to recreate one of your resin art projects.

I love that Evan has a more artistic touch but it’s chaotic and instinctual. And katelyn is more methodical, patient and somewhat of a perfectionist and I never know who’s going to make the nicer product in the end.
