    Thanks as ever John.
    You are a great resource.
I have subscribed to your new channel & hope to resune membership shortly now i am back at work full time.
I am very disappointed to hear about Popham & will be making my feelings known.
It is all about money for these developers.
We have i think saved Coventry but Wellesbourne is equally under threat for the same reason.

I really enjoy this content. It's always so professionally delivered. To me, it is more than just TV worthy, it's better as it's not done by some 'tin-pot' know-all journalist, but an actual flyer.
Subbed to the new channel now as well. Take care everyone 🙂

The news about Popham is particularly unwelcome as Thruxton is also is also soon to close.

Appropriate to have a Red Kite on that leaflet

    Another great briefing👍😊
Hares too on grass runways. I've been sat lined up ready to go and a hare wanders up to me - in the left seat - then onto its hind legs looking at me from a foot or two away. I thought "any minute now he's going to wander into the prop". Thank God he got bored and wandered off👍✌️😊🥴
MORs? Anything government led cannot be trusted these days, sorry, just speaking from wide ranging experience. Having said that I'm a law abiding person. But one has to stop and think these days, but then I'm not a pilot.
So GA airfields under threat or gone; Old Sarum, Wellsbourne, Gloucester, Thruxton, Popham! We lost Redlands locally and South Marston is a wasted opportunity for a city/town AP for Swinedown.

Thanks for publicising the threat to Popham 👍
On a different note any chance of a Redhill airfield edition on the flying reporter RUclips?
I live in Redhill but my home base is Popham, keen to fly in at some point but airspace and procedures are a little off putting.

Did you bounce that Easter landing because you didn't hold off? Your (brief) touchdown was 3-point, which is OK in taildraggers but sloppy technique in trikes! But is also VERY common with trikes.
