What a blessing it would be if all young men in the world were like you Mason. Keep it up.
Man, that’s a lot of work for one person. Your Dad and brother trained you well!!
It's not all the training, it's the built in work ethic to do it right, or fix what's wrong. You can TEACH anything, but not all LEARN what has to be done.
The farm kids always rock!! They know how to take pride in their chores.
Good job Mason ,I’m sure the elders are sleeping good knowing your holding down the fort 👍 .
Love how well trained, motivated and responsible your kids are. Great parenting!
Good job young man Good job....
Tell that young lady that was chasing you around with the camera thank you as well......😊 👍
You didn`t miss a thing. Wish all younger people had your work ethic
So what does Mason do when he isn’t filling in for his dad? You are a natural spokesperson and are responsible young man. It’s a pleasure watching the video.
I wonder how many people watching this video realize that this work has to be done 7 days a week 365 days a year no matter what.Dairy farmig is hard hard work!! Thanks 😊.
Mason I was about your age when I left the farm. I am 63 now as silly as this sounds watching you all I wanted was to be there. Smell the smells. Be around the cattle. Smell the feed, milk the cows listen to the paulseators run and feel the Midwest air on my skin. Growing up on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota was some of the best times of my life.
I’m sure your parents are proud of you. It’s great to see a young fella such as yourself taking ownership of the jobs. That is parenting done right. I just recently started following your channel and really look forward to seeing them. Brings back memories of my childhood
George, you have nothing to worry about when you decide to go away for a few days. Mr. Mason does a wonderful job of milking cows and taking care of The Farm and feeding those fine looking Young stock.
You’re doing a great job Mason He’s. Your dad is lucky to have you as a general manager. I see you’ve hired a camera person also. That was an executive decision.
You always do what you have to do when you are raised on a farm. You can thank your family for making you who and what you are. Doesn't matter what you pursue in life, you have the foundation for success! Great video, you have done nothing less than the best!
I have enjoyed these last couple videos, you all don't often show the more daily grind stuff with milking, and often are showing field work, or other random jobs. Which does offer fresh new content a lot if the time, but there is nothing wrong with showing the milking, feeding and cleaning that make up the bulk of running a dairy farm. Plus it's always great to see how everyone's personality changes the videos, no matter who is filming that day. :)
Looks like a pretty normal day. You are evidently pretty well trained and I didn't see any problems. I remember when Aaron was "the man" while your parents went south for a little while and he ran into a piece of something, I think it was a gate hook. He had to repair it on a very cold winter day. It isn't an easy job and probably can be something you would not want to do every day, but it is good training.
I have a niece that hated living in the country and left home to do about any job, even a flight attendant for a while, got married and had 5 kids. Then when my dad passed away she and her family moved into his 10 acres "in the country" and later, when I asked her if she liked living there, she said "I LOVE IT". She now helps someone milk cows and works with therapy horses on another place. I envy her.
Anyone that wants to put down the younger generation needs to meet this young man.
Great job, you are dedicated to doing a good job. Your father should be very proud.
Awesome job Mason 👍🏾
Job well done Mason you rocked it and your family should know how well you done.Great explanations for those who have never been on a farm and brings back so many memories from our old family farm. Stay safe and always keep your great work ethic.
Good job Mason great way to show what life is like on a dairy farm and tomorrow repeat
Mason, you are a well oiled machine. Your dad is so lucky to have 3 boys that are so dedicated to the family well being. Your mom and dad are to be complimented for passing down such strong family values.
Great job Mason 👍👍
Great video Mason! A lot of manual labor, farmers life work hard eat well and sleep well. 💪🏻
Your Mother told you to finish everything on your plate before you get more, It works that way on the farm too! Good Job! I'm an old farmer, I'm watching you! Suits you, suits me!
Great job Mason. You remind me allot of your father, and he’s quite a guy. Summer has a nice smile, and she seems to be able to put a smile on your face too! 😉
Used to do that back in the 80's when dad had meetings to go to. We milked 100 cows.
I heard the vacuum pump in the background while you were milking. It reminded me of the time when ours imploded right in the middle of the morning milking. Scared the crap out of all of us. Giant bang near the milk house is never a good sign. Patched it with some tape and a piece of scrap metal so we could finish milking. So note to always check your pressure tanks for cracks or rust. They can go quick and with a bang. :) the daily content is awesome. Keep it up
Way to step up and help the family Mason, you're a good man. Videos pretty good too.
Always safety first especially when you’re working alone doing chores. I forgot that lesson onetime. Never again. Thanks for the vid.
Great job young man, you give me hope in this society today
Good to see you, Morgan. The farm is in good hands.
Hey, I'd like to hear from your cook. The recipes must all be doubled or tripled. That's a big job to cook for you guys!
Really enjoyed that Mason. Hello to all 👋.
Great job Mason! Oh, I remember doing all that work when I was still on the farm. I never regret the work ethic it gave me though, seeing a job well done. You learn to do so many things and notice what needs to be done without being told. You are an amazing young man. Compliments to your camera operator too, lol. We love seeing your whole family taking part in the videos. Keep em coming.
Your a great example of great parenting and a fine young man
What I like most about all of these videos it takes me back to when I was growing up on a farm your size as I’m watching on my couch with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning.
Life is better if you have someone to hold the camera, Well done, Thanks for the videos
Great job, Mason!.. The family farm was in excellent hands, while your Dad & big brother were gone..😉 Have a nice weekend.. Keep warm..

Another great video Mason. Great job running everything while Dad is away. Nobody has a idea what hard work and time goes into dairy farming. Great to see a family farm still going. Take care!
Great video! Reminds me of my teenage years helping on a local dairy farm the only difference is we milked with pails no pipe line!
Great to see you again Mason! You sure are one hard worker, thanks for another great video. Stay safe and healthy!
I really enjoyed this video. You guys don't show the milking much. It's so impressive the amount of work you do daily. Love that part you left in. "Oops too much will edit that out" Great video kept me watching all the way through

Black Stripe for the win!
Great Video.
Great job buddy good job
Nice , Thanks. 👌👏👏(N.G Ind. )
I can hear the pulsator and you run it quite fast. When I was growing up we ran it out about 2/3 that speed.
Most are set up for different timing for front and rear now. So the pulses sound twice as fast, but are really the same timing. It's to equalize the flow of milk into the claw and hose. Instead of a 60/40 surge of milk, it's more like a 30/20 , even if the pulsators are still 60/40. I may be a bit technical, but I don't know how to explain it differently. Great observation!
Job well done.
Awesome video love it
Mason, what are your hopes to be as you get older in life?
Another great job completed. Hoe you got a hearty breakfast after all the work.
I'm a small dairy farmer to
Dobra robota 👍
I love St.Bernard’s.
Nice job Mason thanks for the videos. What is your milking schedule? am/pm
Very enjoyable video, do ye get much rain where you are,as I see no cab on jd tractor.
Keep up ❤
Have you considered feeding powdered milk to your cows instead of whole milk from the cows? When I was growing up the volume from powdered milk was considerably cheaper than the whole milk, and it didn’t take away from the farm income to feed the cows. But I’m totally unaware of what powdered milk cost these days. We bought it in 100 pound bags.
It ain't cheap these days. Depending on what brand you buy it could range from 35 dollars a bag to 100 dollars a bag. That's for a 50lb bag. So if you need a pallet of the stuff or half a pallet it gets kinda pricy, especially if it's from Land o lakes.
The price of raw milk vs the price of powdered is upside down now. Yes, a good calf milk replacer is 20% fat and 22% protein against a tank test that may be 5%+/- fat and 7%+/- protein, you still have some "dump" milk that is cheaper to feed calves than the powder. In the '80s, powdered milk was cheaper, but now...
Milk is much better feed than replacer. We used to have calves die from stomach ulcers, scours and infection from replacer. Now it's a rare occurrence to lose a calf.
Just curious what time do you guys milk??
I was wondering that.
I’ve got a question what is it that you guys put down on your concrete once you’ve cleaned up milking area?
What time is the milking schedule ?
I think 7 and 7.
wich time you start with milking?
How many cows do you milk a day.
do you have a manure pit?
How many cows you milking?
Why do you use cow bells
Swiss tradition 🤷
Hope you don't mind my replying to your question. I believe they have said they use the bells, partly due to their Swiss heritage and I remember them saying that the mom's dad gave them one for their wedding. They have relatives over there and there are videos of Aaron and Darby visiting them.
They said it also makes it easier in the summer to find one that calves early and is in the woods or separate from the herd. The bell leads them to her.
Where is Owens girlfriend, she was a good help
Though that was Mason girlfriend 😊🤷
I think you are right but I am being mean@@alisciamarotta3888
Wheres your older brother
