Volt in plasma plastic is my favorite fairways, feel like its a disc that doesnt get the shine it deserves. Its really nice for both backhand and forehand since its pretty flat.

I watched the whole video! (Took me a few days in between tasks), but I made it. I had a feeling the Raider, Zone, and supra were going to be in the top ten! I thought the Shark and the Wild Honey was going to make it in the top ten 😂. I did NOT expect the Beast to make it so high! I agree it's underrated and, besides the valkyrie, the beast was my favorite disc starting out! I still have it in my bag. One from when I started that is my roller disc now and a brand new star Beast! I should have guessed the wraith, destroyer and roc hahaha! Classic molds for sure! Love these type of vids Trevor!
The cross-hatching on the old Discraft molds like the Predator and Xtreme is to cross out the patent numbers after they expired, but the grip is a nice side effect :)
I have 4 Wraiths in my bag right now 😅😂😂 Has always been my favorite disc, hands down. This was great content. Definitely have quite a few different things I'd like to try now.
Used to have 3, but now I have 2 and a DD (Mania) since I retired my super-flippy Wraith and haven't been able to replace it yet. Got one working its way there. I only have more Rocs in my bag at 3.
@seymourglass26 I still keep my original DX in my bag for "good luck" plus a star and two champions. I was the same with Roc3's, but now only keep 2 in my bag.
@@johngay4048 I enjoy it. It flies like a flippy Wraith with a little bit of fade at the end. My old Eco Star Wraith it replaced would flip aggressively, but wouldn't come back. Definitely a touchy shot, but super-valuable for me (with only about 320 feet of power). I mostly throw it flat or light hyzer.
Truth. I don't mind destroyers, they have a place, but Wraiths offer a straighter and more balanced shot with more control for advanced players than Destroyers can. As someone who regularly throws 450-480ft (can touch 500+ on a perfect shot), I don't believe I should sacrifice 20% accuracy for 20ft of distance. Unless you're throwing 600ft, there's probably no reason to throw a destroyer over a Wraith unless you're throwing veryyy nose-down (issue I fixed of mine). I understand "beating in" a destroyer, same with wraiths, in order to get the flights you need, but it's wild to see so many players who beat in a destroyer until they can flip it with a max distance of 350-380ft. Lol. I was one of those guys and wish I'd have just used control drivers. It's an ego thing.
I'd love to see what your 10 disc bag is for courses you haven't been to before. And if you couldn't get any of those discs, what would be your second pick 10 disc bag. Hearing your thought process would def be more valuable than the disc choices themselves. I need to look through your videos more so you may have a video that covers this.
You need to do a video on all the variations of rocs you can get your hands on mold wise would be ridiculous to try all the plastics but molds would be a cool vid because like you roc’s to me are disc golf….first mid and will always be in the bag (actually a couple but who’s counting lol)

Judge is my favorite putter! Lucid/Fluid Judge is my flippy throwing putter. My hands down favorite disc is Big Z Athena, Great stamp and is very predictable. I was hoping to see it on the list

Now im all confused as my Rocs are pretty much identical to my Methods (collection vs collection) and I dont know what road to go down ! - they have both kicked out my MD4 collection so, it has allready had its repucussions... damn you Trevor :D (and thank you for "intrdducing me to the Rocs)

Depends on the speed to rpm (and angle of throw) for the thrower. I've seen a 75mph guy with 1800rpm throw it at 2 deg nose down and it flips and fades back. I've also seen someone throw it on hyzer at 68mph with about 900rpm and it burns over with a neg 4-6 deg nose angle. It's got a great stability that usually flies neutral despite the thrower. One of the most user friendly discs on the market.
I have a 500 glimmer F5 that I got out of a prodigy club box and it’s $$. The F3 and F5 are some of the best fairways on the market and they get overlooked because of the negative stigma around prodigy.
I had a similar experience with Lunas. I was a big fan when they were a little overstable but all the newer ones I have tried seem to flip. Any recommendations?
I am Innova brand loyal and the destroyer has been my most cherished disc... but I fully agree on the Raider's flight > Destroyer. But it feels so awkward =/ Wraith is the best distance driver of all-time in performance and comfort.

I bag multiple of each. The fact that I know I can replace them honestly makes them more reliable to throw. If I lose my Era or Supra, I'm not finding its replacement as easily.

My personal favorite plastic for the volt is cosmic neutron. Gives it a slight more stability. Laser straight forehand disc.

As a long time, experienced player, this made me realize how few molds I've actually thrown.
I thought the zombee (66) was a 6 speed? That was my first ace disc. Glad it made the list!

I would love to see you throw a Trident. It's been my go to utility/approach disc for a long time. It is out of production which sucks.
