I love going thrifting and when I find a good Estate sale, my heart jumps! LOL Love crazing on Ironstone or beautiful old china pitchers or gravy boats. Adds to the character & story. Love the glass pitcher, very nostalgic & useful for serving or flowers! Don't listen to the crabies (spelling?) if you love something, get it and if you can make some money on it, then it's a win win! Also love me a vintage tin or tray with a bit of wear and rust.

If the steamer trunk was refurbished it, would be a terrific child’s wardrobe! My father and I did ceramics in the 70’s and early 80’s. I have my dad’s exquisitely painted nativity set, a cookie jar, and a pitcher that I cherish. I think the blue cobalt bottle would be beautiful in a windowsill.

The little plastic dog that you didn’t know what is was is a hot dog weenie slicer. It slices it into small bite size pieces. Lol! My kids loved theirs.

I think that cobalt bottle held some kind of drink back in the 80s. Pretty.
Me & my sisters ran a Ceramic Shop, out of an old church my dad owned! It was so fun. I don't know why someone hasn't restarted the Ceramic shops. It would be a great addition to the DYI things that ppl. are doing these days. Some of them where stunning when done right. Or just fun if you wanted to do a craft.

A lot of decor, I see people doing in their homes, is usually white, beige or off white and pops of green really makes it all look fantastic!!

I love the blue bottles for bottle trees decorate the outdoor patios etc.
I loved the game board. We played that when I was a child.
All sizes of trays would be cute in a large wicker picnic basket for those bring a side dish or desert type or appetizer backyard parties...they would be at the ready to cover over with outdoor netted dish and food coverings. You can purchase them online to keep the flies at bay
Thoe green vases would make a great Easter/Spring display packed full of tulips and daffodils with bunnies around! Oh, just saw the yellow tray - that would be cute and Springy with the vases on it too! Cute finds for sure.

The plastic dachschund is a hot dog slicer. We used to have one! It might be missing a piece that pushes the hot dog down into the slicer. When my 12 yo was little he wanted hot dogs every day, so we used it often. LOL
I love your thrifting videos! I have just opened a booth at an antique mall in Michigan and really appreciate your help with pricing. That is the hardest part for me. I also like that you buy for decorative value and not actual value. I'm using the same process for my booth. Please keep making these great videos...I'm sure it's a lot of work, but very appreciated for me as a beginner. God bless you!

Old art amateur too , I love. Jars awesome ! I can't find the green vases in my area, so yes good find ,I love them ,great finds for decor! The golf cup such a great unique find! Anything brass , especially candelabras , ceramics yes ! Wow great finds so exciting!

Hi, That dog that you picked up is for serving a hot dog. You cut the hot dog into bite size pieces & the put the dog body on it & fill the little bowl with ketchup for your child. I just bought one at GW for a friends little one. I was literally cracking up. TFS Love your channel. Stay safe & ✌

I have a collection of the green glass vases and they look so beautiful arranged together close to a window. Some of them belonged to my mom who passed away in 2019. No, they do not hold any monetary value but they are priceless to me. Great video! Haul videos are my favorite!

I bought a collection of 7 of these liquor bottles at a garage sale here in OK years ago. I don't think I paid more than $15 for all. I don't even drink but the bottles are really neat to have.

I pick up the older board games for the same reason - such cool decor for a family room around the game playing area. love the flash cards!
I found that same parcheesis game with the original box at my bins. I thought the same, it would look so cute on a wall in a game room. You found some fun stuff. Like you, my favorite “me” thing to do is spend a day leisurely hunting for vintage treasures.

I admire that you are honest about your knowledge or lack of about different items. I have learned a few things from you and wanted to thank you for your sharing and time.
The older I get, (which is a bit older than yo😊u) the more I learn about pieces of vintage/antique wares and goods, that I realize over time I have passed on some pretty unique and extraordinary things. Education is a privilege!!! And I live for learning.

I have the cobalt jar! The green vases are popular, they look pretty with a candle glow inside. The chalice with your flowers in it is my fave!

I love these videos! One of the things that fascinates me is what you DON'T buy, when videoing the shelves (not knowing the prices). I would've picked up a cowbell for sure. I also LOVE the oval photo with the cameras of the dog and the gramophone. Love your choices always, though!!
It is funny what appeals to some people and not to others! Which is why I love picking with friends--we usually are drawn to different things!

I did ceramics in a nearby town every Wednesday night for about five years. I really miss it, but my teacher isn't holding classes anymore.

Arkansas is on our list of places to maybe move someday. Would love a quaint, charming, artsy town. We went to Eureka Springs for a visit, but the houses there are so pricey!
Eureka is a great spot! But yes, house prices they are gonna be more like vacation home prices :) Lots of affordable areas though still left in NW Arkansas, and everything is so close it’s easy to make a day trip to Eureka or spend the day in the Bentonville square :)

I live in Missouri and in January my family took a trip to Arkansas. I happened to go to Rose Antique Mall! I thought it was really nice and the women there were very friendly. Sometimes the world seems so small, doesn't it?

Is the center stamp on the Parchesi board like a postage stamp separate from the rest of the graphics? If yes, it's from the 1950's and I would want to purchase it. I agree with you on the green vases, I love them!
