You are such a great resource, and I love how effortlessly you teach us, without being condescending or dull. Am amazed by your knowledge and - as an older viewer- your memory!
I’m in Paragould and can’t believe that I missed you. I learn so much from watching your channel. One reason that prices are so low here is because most, here, don’t know what good stuff is and what bargains we have. Thus making it a great place for collectors to come shop. We have several antique stores and flea markets in the area, so come back soon.
Dang, George! You just downloaded in 45 minutes, into my brain, about a year of information I need to know about antiquing! Whew, I'm exhausted! I think I'm going to have to watch this video again just to make sure I've got it all! Thanks for the download, you are like a walking, talking encyclopedia! So fun to go antiquing with you!
The Dog N Suds brought back fond memories. We had one in our town in the 60’s with that same sign. It was close to our High School and we would sometimes sneak out and go there for lunch. 😂❤️😂 The Whiting and Davis bag was in great condition and a good buy.
Connie.. We had a Dog n Duds in our small town in Illinois👍 1960s. I would beg my Grandpa to go there. He would! I remember the smell of that food. Great memories
Thank you for the information on Camark pottery. I have a green glazed bud vase with the paper label that I picked up at a yard sale years ago for probably a dollar. I love it. It's very classic.
You are so close to where I was born in Arkansas. I miss my home there. Did you go to Dyess and visit Johnny Cash's hometown. My great grandmother and her family lived across the street from the Cash's. Love your videos thanks so much.
Good evening, George! I liked that Niloak Mission Swirl pottery. With the colours being in the clay itself makes it really interesting to me. I would've had to dig through those fishing lures next to the tether car. That trout planter was a nice one...I'm happy I got most of mine years ago, when the prices were like $5.00. Thanks for mentioning the green drip saucers! 🙂 Those things are like trying to put together a Fenton "Orange Tree" table set😵💫 I'd have never thought they would be so difficult to find. Loved the Dr Pepper sign! That music cabinet was amasing! I have several of the white and gold celluloid boxes - collars and cuffs, gloves, handkerchiefs, etc. I liked that Beechnut tobacco tin. The annodised aluminium has always been a favourite of mine. I just had to add a beverage set of it to my collection😀 I'm amased at the amount of Dr Pepper in that mall/flea market! It's quite nice to see that! I'd love to have one of the clocks or a thermometer. Wow! That Blenko piece was a phenomenal find! 😲 I know you're proud of that one! That was a really enjoyable premier!!! Thanks for the take-a-long!!!
Hi George 🌹What a great stop even though you didn't get alot. Love the Whiting and David purse. I actually have a jelly cabinet (cupboard) in my kitchen it holds my cans. I have a wonderful old piece that had an old cabinet that had a Radio or TV in. Someone took it out. I have my microwave on it. It's a solid wood pc. I got it for $8 at an estate auction. It was in a garage and FILTHY. But I had checked it over and knew it would fit perfectly in the spot I had a microwave cart I hated anyway Love the box the gloves was in. I have several glove boxes but they are padded slick material. Love them. I also use the Method soap but I use the coconut water. It's great and smells SO Good. Safe Travels and have a Great Week😘
OMG!!!!!!! I’m racing back to my local Goodwill first thing in the morning!!!!! Yesterday I saw two clear glass pieces with the Blenko Blue Sky with those “mountains” at the bottom!!! I was drawn to them and something told me they were good.. please please still be there!!! Lol I’ll let ya know if they are!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!! I’d love to spend a year shopping alongside you… lol Now I’ll never be able to sleep 🤪 Just saw vase you found listed on EBay 😳. Is the clear as valuable??? I’m not finding many to compare too… Oh and there were TWO bowls !!!!! Gah … I’m dying over here in WA lol
They were there… BUT… not Blenko 😭 they were Bali slump glass bowls designed to sit on driftwood… only they didn’t have the driftwood… decent sale prices on them with the driftwood but because they didn’t have that I left them… BUT… found a Ken Edwards Tonala Ram!!! So I’m still happy! I searched for the driftwood and even asked if they had come together and no joy! But at least now I know what I’m looking for 🤪
I'm glad you got something good on your return trip! At the same time, it's good to know the difference on the Blenko vs the driftwood glass, so all a good experience
Thank you for highlighting the Hall.... I apprecite it! I've been a Hall collector my entire life...unfortunately not worth alot fo resale....I collect for the love of the product
I had no idea you were coming through Arkansas! My husband and I frequent this Flea Market & I would have loved to meet you! Paragould had a 7up and Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. My husband's father grew up in Paragould. We live 25 minutes in Caraway, Ar. - Home of the American Redheads ladies basketball team. Unfortunately, a tornado hit our town a few years back and it has really shrunk in size, a bit like the town where you live in Kentucky. I am an avid viewer! We sell part time on Ebay as a hobby (fancyvintagefinds) Thanks for sharing - We have learned so much from you.
It's so informative and fun to go shopping with you. You're a veritable walking antique encyclopedia! Thank you for showing the prices and talking about the items. Happy shopping and wishing you all the best!☘️💗☘️
Hi George. I've had that same Blenko vase for maybe 4 years. Could not figure out what in the world it was. Thought it was supposed to sit on an underplate that fit the groves or something. I was soo shocked to hear it was Blenko Big Sky. I see yours going for over $500 today. Thanks to you I know what I have and will get it out of storage now!
So glad you were able to score big in the Blenco big sky vase and the other prices were really good also. 👍 I enjoyed shopping along and even taken a few notes along the way. Thanks George ❤️!
The bird figurines were gorgeous and if we still lived in Florida, I would love those. So yes, they’ll sell quickly. Thanks for the education as you browse. It’s very interesting.
Great find on the Blenko big sky vase. It sure does pay to know! I had one of those brown donut phones back in the 80’s. Enjoyed your flea market shop along!
My Great grandmother used the butter churn and tall old crocks to hold Canes, Umbrellas, Rapping paper. Small crocks and urns to hold kitchen utensils. She was practical, and cleaver how she used thing's.

"And sometimes your children" 😂😂

My mom is in Rogers. She's an Illinois transplant. I love to visit her and go to the shops! I believe she's been to Paragould.
Such a wealth of information.
Just bought a collection of Niloak. Both Mission and 1930s vases.
Great stuff! I’ve hardly ever found the mission ware
@@TheAntiqueNomad Sending you a picture of what I got.
Thanks for showing my booth George and for your purchases. My booth was the first one 😊
I was so surprised to see you at Amazing Things in Paragould in this video. It is a great place to look as you said
I was pleased to find it and show it off!
Thanks George, I see the history of the Blue Mountain bird I bought from you!!!!
Lots of things to hunt through there. Looks c like fun. Thanks for talking us through the origins of lots of those pieces.

IT IS MINE! How exciting on the Blenko piece! It's like they say in the Ikea commercial - Start the car!!

Lovely video!! The ceramic Florida like birds, almost flew off your table in Florida sale!! Did their wings graze you when in flight?? Lol! 💞🧜♀️💞
The Blenko was beautiful. My favorite color.
I didn’t read comments too far back, but you can now get lock retrofit kits for the lane chests to replace the faulty ones
yes, they had to make that change!
Thank you for showing what you bought. Wonderful wealth of knowledge.
Those Niloak pieces are kinda groovy!

That wasn't a fly, lol, it was a bee and $65 was an excellent price for that. The bee is used as a honey jar as well.
