An old southern summer trick is to make your cucumber salad in a mayonnaise jar. When your jar is almost empty from all the tomato sandwiches, you save it and just add all you cucumber salad ingredients to the jar and shake. (Mayo replaces the sour cream, but everything else is the same)

The pull bread tecnique was a good idea👍Here in Scandinavia we put a couple of teaspoons of kardemomme in the dough with the flour. Then we do it just the way you do with the cinnamon rolls. Butter, sugar and cinnamon. We also give the rolls an egg wash, and sprinkle sugar on top of them. And sometimes we make a smal ‘pit’ in the middle of the cinnamon roll, and fill it with 1 large ts of vanilla egg cream (custard) before it goes in the oven. ❤

After watching a RUclips video, I use fold lock top sandwich bags to portion my celery (or other items) and put several in a bag to vacuum seal. When I take out a portion, I reseal the bag and put it back in the freezer. It makes getting the single portion out very easy.

@@nonsense289 That’s an option, but a much more wasteful option than reusing the bags until they get too small. Sealing a single sized portion bag would then be too small to reseal and re-use.

Suggestion for your cinnamon pull apart bread, use some muffin tins or popover pans. You could probably cut them smaller and make stacks of six layers. It would work just as well since you are short of loaf pans. Another suggestion might be to buy a long sandwich loaf pan with a lid. But don’t use the lid. Voondabah!

@@sourdoughsavant22Its hard for one machine to do both small amounts of things and very large amounts. I think it’s good to have both myself. I don’t use my Bosch that often because I don’t usually make a ton of anything at this stage of my life, but if I still had a lot of kids around, I would use it a lot.

Hello Becky I wanted to share with you that yesterday I had a Becky kinda day. I had a zucchini I wanted to grate and make zucchini bread as well as some thawed squash that I wanted to make pumpkin bread.....I figured I might as well make them both. I would have all the basic cooking ingredients out as well as the basic cooking utensils out So in the long run it would save me time and effort. 😊 My intent was also to puree my dried eggs shells and banana peels that had accumulated. I use these in my garden. I knew I could do this while my muffins were baking. Make best use of my time. 😊 I prefer to make muffins with my bread recipes easy to grab 1 and go.Ended up that I didn't do more than the breads for a couple reasons. I have a small kitchen. As long as my muffins were either cooling or baking I didn't want Egg shell dust or banana Dust settling on them. I figured I would go back after I was done with the last of the baking and do my Egg shells and banana peels but I didn't because I was too tired. I was happy to have enough Baking dishes to bake 5 1⁄2 dozen muffins and 2 small Loafs of bread Without having to repeat use any of the dishes. My Becky day's major difference was the fact that I don't put my baking dishes through the dishwasher unless they are glass. So I had a lot of muffin tins and baking bowls / utensils to wash before I was done. Just like we are with you in the kitchen when you do your vlogs yesterday you were with me in the kitchen in my mind. 💜😊😎

When you put 2 portions of celery in the bags and said you didn't want to use more bags, you can cut the bags in half and use the seal function to seal the cut edge... ta day, 2 smaller bags!
I buy the bags as a continuous roll so I can cut to whatever size I like 😀 (UK)

17:53 bc it helps to keep the moisture off the produce. I do this with lettuce from my garden and it lasts like a month+ in my fridge(individual leaves cut from my lettuce plants, washed and dried and then inside a tupperware lined with paper towels and then layered with leaves and paper towels. Works for strawberries etc.

I've never seen anyone blanch celery. It's not even listed on my blanching-to-freeze guide. Chopping it, flash freezing it, and then putting it into vacuum sealed bags has always worked for me. Also, I wrap fresh celery in foil and it keeps beautifully in the fridge for weeks -- nice and crisp enough to use for fresh eating - most commonly for us alongside hot wings with ranch dressing.

Fresh bread.....delicious. I remember years ago a friend of mine used to work near to where I lived and I would occasionally meet her for a quick lunchtime picnic and I would make some bread and rolls for sandwiches and it was so nice to sit in the park, in the middle of a busy city enjoying a pot of tea and homemade sandwiches. You can make food anywhere, if you want.

May I suggest cutting the baking paper to the size of the bottom of the pan (roughly)? You’d save a lot of paper, and loaves usually do not stick to the sides if you oil the pan 😊
