This was a great video. I love the idea of gifting bread and jam. Definitely going to do this as gifts for my sisters and nieces. Can't wait for the bread guide.
Please tell Josh, thank you for creating your new website. I absolutely love it. It's so vibrant and easy to search now. The options of the text size is wonderful. I'm currently printing out all my favorite recipes to ensure I always have a printed copy. Enjoying your channel and website immensely.
I bought a Bosch mixer in 1978. Lost it in the divorce. Two years ago he gave it back. It sat all those years and it still works great. So I gifted it to my daughter and taught her how to make bread. They are amazing machines! It sat for over 40 years.
The crazy thing is Oprah did that “you get a car” bit about twenty years ago. Becky was just a young child at that time so I’m surprised so knows about it. Funny.
An old southern summer trick is to make your cucumber salad in a mayonnaise jar. When your jar is almost empty from all the tomato sandwiches, you save it and just add all you cucumber salad ingredients to the jar and shake. (Mayo replaces the sour cream, but everything else is the same)
I think you may be feeding the neighbour with that amount of dough! WTG Becky, a person who never puts a foot wrong - never puts a foot anywhere. It’s a great learning experience, not just for you but for your subscribers too. Love how the bread turned out. You could also coil the lengths of dough and fit the coil into a round cake tin (like a spiral).
I have been making a Pumpkin Pull-apart bread for the past 6 years that is phenomenal. It calls for brown butter…it just tastes so heavenly. My family loves it!!!
The pull bread tecnique was a good idea👍Here in Scandinavia we put a couple of teaspoons of kardemomme in the dough with the flour. Then we do it just the way you do with the cinnamon rolls. Butter, sugar and cinnamon. We also give the rolls an egg wash, and sprinkle sugar on top of them. And sometimes we make a smal ‘pit’ in the middle of the cinnamon roll, and fill it with 1 large ts of vanilla egg cream (custard) before it goes in the oven. ❤
I've become a fan. Watch your videos to the end. Mom taught my sisters and me at an early age to make lots of make-ahead meals. She called them "home-made TV dinners". We just enjoyed all the time in the kitchen with her and all the smells......not to mention all the singing! Thank you so much for bringing back such wonderful memories.
I'm so glad you got a Bosch! I grew up in a kitchen that had a Bosch mixer (that's still going strong after 40+ years). We bought a Bosch about 20 years ago and I've been keeping our family of 5 in stock with bread continually with it since.
Have we all told you lately that we so Love and Appreciate you Becky? The look on your face when you pulled that dough out of the fridge was PRICELESS!!! Bless you for making our days filled with your love and knowledge! Hugs to all! Your friends I am sure were over the moon with gratefulness!
I have never blanched my celery for freezing I always just dice it up spread on cookie sheet till frozen then toss on zip lock bags. Perfect every time
Hi Becky , your face says it all your so happy with the Bosch machine . Happy bread making with it . 🇬🇧 I love all your videos in the kitchen and garden .
All that bread and peach jam looks delicious! How lucky your friends are to have you! That salad looked delicious! My mom mused to make a really good salad, just chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, with mayonnaise, salt, pepper and dill. Absolutely delicious in the summer!
After watching a RUclips video, I use fold lock top sandwich bags to portion my celery (or other items) and put several in a bag to vacuum seal. When I take out a portion, I reseal the bag and put it back in the freezer. It makes getting the single portion out very easy.
@@mrg-k2r That’s an option, but a much more wasteful option than reusing the bags until they get too small. Sealing a single sized portion bag would then be too small to reseal and re-use.
I did not mean to sound like I was criticizing you in my last comment, you inspire me and encourage me to try new things and totally make me feel like I can do more with gardening and preserving foods and discovering ways to provide for my children and grandchildren. Thank you Becky
I joined a farm fresh produce delivery program . Received my first box yesterday I had wanted to do it for some time…but hearing your passion every time you talk about local produce encouraged me to do it. So thank you so much Becky
Something I have learnt about parchment paper this past year is that you can dampen it, wring it out, and by doing this you can manipulate it better to fit your pan!
36:03 This technique, with a lower sugar dough, would also be delicious spread with savory items like garlic butter, pesto, or roasted red pepper sauce.
If you put your cucumbers and onions in a colander and sprinkle with a bit of salt, it draws out the water in the veggies and then they don't water down your salad. The breads look amazing!
I slice my cucumbers & put them in a colander in the sink. Cover them with salt, mix up & leave them for about an hr. Rinse them off & dry them. Then I use them in the salad. Usually cucumber & sour cream salad. Sooo good
Becky 😂you are like Ninja Warrior in the kitchen....Bam garden produce are stocked.. Bam recipes are ready.. Bam kitchen is cleaned Bam ready for another project... Bam bam bam... Wow Becky you are awesome ❤❤❤❤
Love this! I'm excited for it to cool off enough to bake bread! The heat index where I live has been 118°...too hot to bake, too hot to can. Thank you for the inspiration!
I think it would take me 3 days to get that amount of work done, lol! I just don't have the energy anymore but it is really inspiring to watch you being so productive in the kitchen and garden. You are a very thoughtful friend to gift your breads and peaches. 🍞🍑 Your kindness will come back to you many times over. ❤️
Hey Becky, I watch all your videos! Lately the volume seems low, I've been needing to turn my volume all the way up just to hear you, don't know if anyone else is having this issue as well.
Hi Becky! Ive caught up on all your videos now and im finding myself re-watching again and again, im so happy i just found you on a recipe search, Absolutely ❤ your channel, scratch pantry website is AWESOME, Josh has done an amazing job, im going to try your pumpkin waffle recipe next but use courgette instead as i have grown loads!! Thankyou for being you! Xx ❤ Clare x
Such a great feeling to grow and preserve your own food. You can always freeze dry or dehydrate extra celery or anything you freeze really. Love your new bread mixer. Spontaneously loving Becky’s style!
Bread and freeze dried celery/veggies for stock/soups would be a great gift idea. I never seem to have enough celery. Love your videos. Thank you for posting! Blessings, Health, Prosperity and Peace to you and yours and to all who read this! 👍😘🙏💖
I just came upon your videos and love them. I'm 68 and you remind me of myself. Still doing all these things but haven't baked bread in awhile. Your encouraged me to start baking my breads again.
Hi Becky. I'm not sure if you'll see my message or not just in case I have a suggestion regarding the ingredients. When I make my cinnamon recipe I will add cinnamon in the dry ingredients mixture to give that extra deliciousness. Try it you may like it 😊. I am getting ready to make your cinnamon pull apart bread. Hope you, Josh and the fur babies have a wonderful day. I look forward to binge watching each morning having my coffee while watching your wonderful teaching videos until I'm caught up. I just started a month ago. Please please PLEASE keep making your videos. ps... Please do a video on how you pull your hair up everyday. I bet it's long and beautiful.
I made this bread at New Years and my family LOVED IT. I made a tiny version for my grandchildren and they couldn’t get enough. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
I used to make pull apart pesto and parmesan bread. Just roll little bits of dough in pesto and then cheese and dump into a well greased bundt pan and bake. So yum and festive for holidays.
Fresh bread.....delicious. I remember years ago a friend of mine used to work near to where I lived and I would occasionally meet her for a quick lunchtime picnic and I would make some bread and rolls for sandwiches and it was so nice to sit in the park, in the middle of a busy city enjoying a pot of tea and homemade sandwiches. You can make food anywhere, if you want.
Hi from Ontario, Canada. I just got a Bosch mixer, great to know I can do so many loaves at once. The bread looks amazing. Love your channel!! So glad I found it.
I have heard Bosch is better more larger batches and is more durable I'm still torn about the kitchenaid though because of all the attachments! I just don't want a million products, so I'm stuck in analysis paralysis 😅
Becky I am so jealous of you. I am going to admit I had my doubts at the beginning of the season, but you have surpassed me. I live in Florida where we are supposed to be able to grow year around. The problem I have is the heat here wrecks our gardens and of course, the tropics bring in the bugs. In the little amount of time you can garden you have way surpassed me. Crazy!! You can grow so much and everything looks so beautiful.
Wow! That Bread loves delicious! I hope your friends know how fortunate they are to have you bake for them. Bread is my absolute Favorite!!! Looks amazing!
wow, what a productive day The bread and the cinnamon bread look amazing I bet the smell that both made was so mouth-watering. thank you so much for sharing this with us. xxx
I use binder clips to hold the parchment on the pans .You can leave them on or take them off before baking .It helps with the frustration of the paper moving .I just made lemon poppy seed zucchini loaves.I love the abundance of garden veggies this time of year.God bless Carol in Edmonton 🇨🇦
I know Becky's hair is usually up in some variation of this way, but I think it looks particularly cute in this video :) can't put my finger on why. So much bread!!!! Lucky friends and family for sure
Oh my goodness Becky, I made watermelon/lemonade concentrate this morning! What a great taste. I made your taquitos yesterday and froze 12. Making your freezer salsa soon, have all the ingredients (most were given to us from friends). My family is amazed at what I have been canning, both waterbath and pressure. Going to make rolls for supper tomorrow and making soup! Our farm market has double celery hearts for $.99, hmmmmmmmm, lol
Hello Becky I wanted to share with you that yesterday I had a Becky kinda day. I had a zucchini I wanted to grate and make zucchini bread as well as some thawed squash that I wanted to make pumpkin bread.....I figured I might as well make them both. I would have all the basic cooking ingredients out as well as the basic cooking utensils out So in the long run it would save me time and effort. 😊 My intent was also to puree my dried eggs shells and banana peels that had accumulated. I use these in my garden. I knew I could do this while my muffins were baking. Make best use of my time. 😊 I prefer to make muffins with my bread recipes easy to grab 1 and go.Ended up that I didn't do more than the breads for a couple reasons. I have a small kitchen. As long as my muffins were either cooling or baking I didn't want Egg shell dust or banana Dust settling on them. I figured I would go back after I was done with the last of the baking and do my Egg shells and banana peels but I didn't because I was too tired. I was happy to have enough Baking dishes to bake 5 1⁄2 dozen muffins and 2 small Loafs of bread Without having to repeat use any of the dishes. My Becky day's major difference was the fact that I don't put my baking dishes through the dishwasher unless they are glass. So I had a lot of muffin tins and baking bowls / utensils to wash before I was done. Just like we are with you in the kitchen when you do your vlogs yesterday you were with me in the kitchen in my mind. 💜😊😎
What a lovely gift. I love working with yeast dough also. I made 18 dozen heart shaped cinnamon rolls for a Valentine's Day bake sale a few years back. My kitchen is tiny but it was fun.
Thank you for all you do to teach us all your great ideas and delicious recipes ❤ It's been hard to cook everyday due to motor function delays that weakend my hands & legs but do love cooking.. 2 weeks ago i made sure to follow your idea of adding marinate ingredients to the meat in ziplock bags before freezing and after following your recipes i now have 6 honey mustard chicken, 6 korean bbq beef & i also made 8 quart size zip lock bags of chili verde ready to heat up. This coming week i have plans to also to freeze a few pans of pasta meals that are pan ready to heat up in the oven ( chicken alfredo & a home made hamburger helper cheesy pasta) You truly are a blessing and thank you again for being a true healp to us all that follow you ❤
I made some last night too after I got home from work. It was fantastic and soo much faster! I wish I had known the peach salsa recipe when local peaches were abundant, can't wait to try that one too.
Love your videos. These baked items look so wonderful and tasty. You are such an inspiration, a young generation version of Martha Stewart; but so much sweeter and loving.
With the pull apart bread put some pizza sauce, pepperoni and cheese. Then after in the pan add some italian seasoning & garlic butter. Man that sounds so good. I like the idea of the jams for a sweet treat. I have NEVER made homemade bread. I want to try but I'm so nervous lol. Thanks for sharing with us Becky!!
Watching you make bread made me want to make bread too, midnight here in the Netherlands haha! So I made some of my late mothers irish brown bread that she made everyday for most of my life. Looking forward to eating some with kerrygold butter and a fried egg! Yummy!
When you put 2 portions of celery in the bags and said you didn't want to use more bags, you can cut the bags in half and use the seal function to seal the cut edge... ta day, 2 smaller bags! I buy the bags as a continuous roll so I can cut to whatever size I like 😀 (UK)
I keep my yeast in a sealed container in the top shelf of the freezer. It’s what King Arthur (Flour) Baking does in their kitchens. I called the hotline a few years ago with questions about yeast, that at the time a frantic moment for me. The woman was so calm, kind, & patient with me.
Love all your videos Becky! I watch some of them over and over because I don’t have a printer to print off recipes. I got the red and green dots to make the nugat candy you made for valentines 💌 I’m hoping I saved that one!! I love watching the videos of you and your mom shopping 🛒 and cooking! I can see where you got your organizational skills from, your mom is always great at planning things! Thank you so very much for sharing!!! Su ❤😊
Your friends must have felt so loved! I know I would if I'd received such a thoughtful and delicious gift. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas, and motivation that you share with us xxx
You inspire me so much with how you grow & make your own garden and herbs for preserving and freeze drying. I really want to start trying to do this and that’s my goal for 2024. Thanks for the recipes and great ideas. I’m making homemade vanilla for gifts this year thanks to you & your sister. Have a wonderful thanksgiving!!😊
There is a rubber scraper for your dough hook that helps lean sides of bowl also you can get a stainless steel bowl to replace the plastic one for you paddles you can get a stainless steel connector to replace the plastic one. Because they strip easy. Only bad thing I could find but easily fixed
Bosch is the best! I purchased one with all the extras at a yard/estate sale for 15.00. I love how the grater grates cheese and carrots etc. it has a shoot that makes it fast. Easy to clean.
17:53 bc it helps to keep the moisture off the produce. I do this with lettuce from my garden and it lasts like a month+ in my fridge(individual leaves cut from my lettuce plants, washed and dried and then inside a tupperware lined with paper towels and then layered with leaves and paper towels. Works for strawberries etc.
Suggestion for your cinnamon pull apart bread, use some muffin tins or popover pans. You could probably cut them smaller and make stacks of six layers. It would work just as well since you are short of loaf pans. Another suggestion might be to buy a long sandwich loaf pan with a lid. But don’t use the lid. Voondabah!
Becky, you can freeze fresh diced celery without blanching, I have done this for years. Thank you for being you, I love watching and being with you. God bless..
Oooh! Your bread looks beautiful and yummy! And Becky, I’m SO HAPYY to see that you have a mixer that doesn’t try to walk off of the counter. Lol congratulations! You can always make glazes and use your sealer to make packets to your gifted bread.
Hey Becky!! Love your videos and energy. You will love, love, love, your Bosch!! See if you can find the stainless bread bowl for it - it is larger. I make 6 loaves easily with room to spare. My family thinks they are being punished if they have to eat store bought bread. Thanks for all you do!!
Diatomaceous earth will help with bugs. You can sprinkle it on leaves and it's like shards of glass to hard shell bugs. It penetrates their exoskeleton and kills them, and it's non toxic.
Hey Rebekah, if you purchase vital wheat gluten and add it to your all purpose flour it will make it like a bread flour. I just add a little as a little goes a long way. Maybe 1/2 tsp for one loaf. Experiment to see what gives you the best crumb you like. Then you only have to buy one type of flour. Happy baking friend!!!

Thank you so much!
19:14 this whole celery blanching section was totally asmr for me … the dicing, the water, the draining… 😌
Yummy! Thank you! Brings memories back when I was a child and we had a garden. Homemade is always best.
I love the delighted giggle when you used the Bosch for the first time. This is inspiring me to get out the bread flour to make some goodies tomorrow.
Christine at Frugal Fit Mom uses her Bosch all the time! She actually took a cooking class about the mixer when she first got it 15-20 years ago.
This coming week i have plans to also to freeze a few pans of pasta meals that are pan ready to heat up in the oven ( chicken alfredo & a home made hamburger helper cheesy pasta) You truly are a blessing and thank you again for being a true healp to us all that follow you ❤
Made the freezer salsa and OMG best salsa ever! It will be my go-to recipe. Thank you for sharing.
I made some last night too after I got home from work. It was fantastic and soo much faster! I wish I had known the peach salsa recipe when local peaches were abundant, can't wait to try that one too.
Becky, i love your videos, you are teaching this ole lady so many good things...thank you dear
Your garden is so beautiful, I'm working on it and learning new was of starting from seed
Love your videos. These baked items look so wonderful and tasty. You are such an inspiration, a young generation version of Martha Stewart; but so much sweeter and loving.
Like the creativity in your dishes, great way to do cinnamon and sugar, looks delicious.
I love my Bosche! I have had it for over 30 years and it still works great.
Thanks for sharing with us Becky!!
yum. i bet you could alternate layers of either the pizza idea, or the jam , cream cheese danish idea
I tried your towel hack with lettuce and it worked great. Thank you
Love all your videos Becky!
Becky you are so thoughtful and giving!! You are truly a sweet soul!!💗💐
You are such a wonderful kind and giving person , your friends are truly blessed ❤️
Voondabah!
I will need to try that!
Becky, you can freeze fresh diced celery without blanching, I have done this for years. Thank you for being you, I love watching and being with you. God bless..
Boy, do I wish I was one of your close friends, Becky! You are such a gem! God bless you and your family, sweet girl.
Oooh! Your bread looks beautiful and yummy!
And Becky, I’m SO HAPYY to see that you have a mixer that doesn’t try to walk off of the counter. Lol congratulations!
You can always make glazes and use your sealer to make packets to your gifted bread.
We always made cinnamon rolls w chopped nuts and raisins. And then did butter and brown sugar in the bottom of the pan when we baked them. So good
You are the sweetest and most thoughtful friend and such a blessing to others ❤
Lucky friends, to get all the scrumptious baking plus homemade peach jam! Thanks for sharing! Blessings to everyone 🤗💗🇨🇦
Hey Becky!! Love your videos and energy. You will love, love, love, your Bosch!! See if you can find the stainless bread bowl for it - it is larger. I make 6 loaves easily with room to spare. My family thinks they are being punished if they have to eat store bought bread. Thanks for all you do!!
I love baking bread. Will have to try this! Single batch though 😊
Good morning Becky. So glad ur on . ❤️ u make my day. I planted pumpkins an the grasshoppers an ants ate all the leaves!! I was so sad.
Diatomaceous earth will help with bugs. You can sprinkle it on leaves and it's like shards of glass to hard shell bugs. It penetrates their exoskeleton and kills them, and it's non toxic.
@@googleuser2226 thank u so very much for the information
Hey Rebekah, if you purchase vital wheat gluten and add it to your all purpose flour it will make it like a bread flour. I just add a little as a little goes a long way. Maybe 1/2 tsp for one loaf. Experiment to see what gives you the best crumb you like. Then you only have to buy one type of flour. Happy baking friend!!!
