Your potatoes looked delicious. I make mine almost the same way, but instead of adding the raw onion into the cheese sauce, I saute them in the melted butter in the beginning first, then add the flour & milk. I actually never add raw onion to any recipes, even if it says too. I find by sauteing them first, gives off much better flavor. Thanks for sharing your meals. xx

My cat’s name is Princess Prissy! She runs the house. She is a rescue from the animal shelter. There was a tornado and flooding south of me in Florida. The shelters were full. No sure of her age but guessing about 8-10 as I have had her for 4 years. She also loves cheese 🧀. I love 💕 your channel. It is simple and easy to follow the recipes. Tracy Lou looks like the sweetest and most lovable cat. I love cats but sadly I am allergic to them. I do however have a miniature dachshund named bandit. He was my mom's dog and when she passed away I got him and he was 4 years old. Now he will be 14 this year. He also cannot jump anymore and has gone blind. Don't know what I will do when his time comes. He has been such a comfort for me since my mom passed. It's like having a little piece of her with me

To keep your potatoes from browning, it is best to place them in water while you are prepping and slicing. I place them in a bowl of water while slicing and chopping, and drain the them when I get ready to cook them. It really works!
I make a similar potato dish, I microwave my potato’s in the microwave for 20 min to soften, and I make the white gravy, pour over the potatoes, salt, pepper and add butter, bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes. My family loves these.

I got some turkey after your grocery haul. I have had an instant pot for over a year, but just got it out of the box a few weeks ago. I cooked it in there per six sisters stuff instructions and it was so good!!! My Dad also said they taste like beef. 😄 so scrange, but so good!!! It all looked delicious. If you guys eat fried okra or baked okra in the oven, try cleaning out the seeds of fresh some jalapenos. Cut them up and add them to the okra after it is almost done. It is delicious! Also I cook green beans (of your choice) with onion, butter and a little juice in a skillet until all the moister is gone. This gives a little twist to the ordinary green. bean. 🥰

I make something very close to the cajun dish. A chef came to my daughters school years ago and made it. He used egg noodles and called it cajun lasagna. I use the same sausage and sometimes I add scrimp.

The garlic and herb pork tenderloin is super good if you cook it in the instantpot and then throw it in the over to crisp up the edges and stays super moist!
I have been doing a gratin and scalloped potatoes since I was a child and I have been using occasionally a sauce that I created. I mix together a can of Campbell's cream of chicken with herbs and a large jar of salsa con queso along with the shredded cheese. It's a different and nice change from the plain ones. :-)
