Nice detailed skillset stuff, but what about that tree that fell on your bug? And that tow truck? I do appreciate your weaving of the stories, either way, so crack on!
Great meeting you at the Rhode Island Police car show. I was asked to attend again next year. Loved your Adam -12 Plymouth Belvedere. See you next year. Merry Christmas
After market parts do suck. All the best sheet metal producers make sheet metal for pre 1959 beetles, which leaves “newer” cars at the mercy of mass stamped sheet metal suppliers. Forget the naysayers, and just keep pushing forward. You will get there and the car will look great. And tidy your workspace… you’re killing me! 😂
A little bit of a “whack a mole” go on there. But just keep going. Try to remember, “what people say about me is none of my business!” - Sir Anthony Hopkins
I appreciate your dedication, and no doubt about your knowledge of the subject, but I do have a tip. When you are showing "US" a problem area or a good area you have a habit of just blowing through it. It's a common mistake of technical writers, forgetting that many of your audience need a chance to absorb the point you are making. Slow down with the camera as you zoom into a specific thing, and be more cognizant of the lighting. Many of your shots on the inside of compartments (like the right side inner fender area), are barely visible, or we just don't know what we're looking at. And maybe, just maybe, you could work on that staccato speaking. You sound like Blinken or Obama. Drives me crazy.
Patience is a virtue so I know I couldn`t do it.
LOL
Great update. Keep at it, and the reward in the end will be worth it!
Thanks!
Your dedication and patience is commendable! Great work!
Thank you very much!
To say I admire your persistence would be an understatement. Carry on!!
Thank you!
Like you said, today’s aftermarket panels are crap! Never mind the negative feedback, you do what you know to do 😉
I have faith in you.
Thanks!
Your craftiness working in 3D is top notch. Also, have you taken that jackleg that sold you the panel bus to court yet?....hahahaha. 😜
🤣🤣😂
Always, always enjoy your attention to detail as I am obsessed with same. Great video!
Thanks! It’s a curse really LOL
Perseverance pays off! That fits sweet now
We all make mistakes , that's what makes use better , your doing great glad to see you moving forward and not giving up.😊👍
Thanks !
Great update! Hang in there! Going to be great!
👍

I’ll have a video on the tow truck soon! Been doing a lot of work on it!

Yup, these “new” cars LOL I’m a mess, I know LOL
This is like using advanced astrophysics to make spaghetti and meatballs.
Had to be done though. On these VWs, the tolerances are way tighter than American cars. I’ve seen both ends and it’s mind boggling.
Looking good on a couple of levels, eh?
I see what you did there🤣

Nice job …. But you are making your life hard buy using crappy parts ….. go with Wolf parts
They don’t make much for post ‘60 cars.
