    7 months ago, I bought an "Opel Mokka Ultimate". So far I've made 5,328 km. and I am very pleased with it. I'm 64 years old. To date, I have had countless cars: BMW 318i, Alfa Romeo 156, Opel Corsa GSI, Fiat Barchetta, Volvo S40 2.0 D etc. I made hundreds of thousands of kms in Europe. Therefore, I have the opportunity to compare. I am very pleased to have preferred Mokka. It has an easy and enjoyable driving. The interior and exterior design is excellent. The engine has won the "Engine of The Year" award for 4 years. The "Aisin" (Japanese) transmission is one of the best torque converter transmissions in the market. Intellilux LED Matrix headlights are also a wonder of technology. My average fuel consumption, by the way, is 7.6 lt/100km. In my opinion, the only "cons" of this car are: the relatively small luggage compartment, the luggage button is somehow under the fender (ergonomics error), short knee distance of the rear seats and the absence of wireless charging. Apart from that, it is an excellent car.

    I'd have the Mokka 1.2 Turbo over the Mokka-e, because it's cheaper to buy and easier to live with.

      @ivanh9567 3 года назад

      @@luisascanu6696 No. I mean that I never wait until fuel indicator starts blinking. But if it happened, I drive with maximum fuel economy. Because you know, when diesel goes out of fuel, and some air get sucked into fuel system, diesel won't start even if you fill it up with fuel.

    Great video thanks. My local dealer has same car as yours (white in SRI trim with automatic box) and I'm going to drive it next week. I currently drive a diesel, I'm a little worried about the fuel consumption of the Mokka. Do you think 45mpg (6.5l per 100kmh) in this car is realistic in normal mixed driving?

    • @GearUpTest
      @GearUpTest  3 года назад +1

      I wouldn't be worried about consumption too much the numbers I showed might be a little bit higher than in day-to-day basis driving.
      So getting 45mpg should be a pretty much achieveable and realistic.

      @@rossdev the official consumption data are WLTP-based. Also, when conceptualising the new Mokka we focused on lightweight design, efficiency and great driving dynamics. The new Mokka weighs up to 120 kilograms less than the previous model - with almost the same wheelbase and tyre sizes.

      The 100 hp version is more than enough.. You will only notice the last 30 hp at very high rpms. At the daily driving you will not experience any difference at all. :)

      @@GearUpTest we would prefer a 👍 thanks to its scale, Stellantis is well equipped to address the challenges ahead like rising vehicle costs from regulation and innovation and from the pressure of newcomers on the market and disruptors.
      In addition, Opel is one of only two brands (together with Peugeot) positioned in the upper mainstream segment and therefore of great importance for the group. As all other brands of Stellantis, Opel will benefit from the strong global position of the company. Thus, we enter the new constellation strongly with a high level of confidence.
