Hey sir thank you for watching and for sharing. More importantly thank you for working hard on your sobriety and mental health care. I know it is hard but never give up. Big hugs
I sent you a message to your website. I’m ready to throw in the towel. The process takes so much out of me, it’s as exhausting and demoralizing. Hours spent to just be denied over and over.
Thanks for the information. i am service connected for hemorrhoids, GERD, and IBD (Chron's Disrease) except i do not receive compensation for GERD because they considered Chron's and GERD as stacking so the compensated me with the higher rated condition but n0t both..
Current going through ETS I’m on like 4 different medications and struggling with stomach pain and bowl movements. I’m being told I would likely not get anything. It started when I was down range it’s been a year of constant pain.
Keep going to medical to build some of the paperwork. You're still in the military, and even after you ETS you have that 1 year window to get service connected on stuff for that happened on AD. So if it's an ongoing issue that likely won't change, keep building your paperwork and complaining about your issues, and eventually, you can submit a claim
I had a hemorrhoidectomy surgery a little over a year ago to remove multiple prolapsed and internal ones. Any ideas how they'll consider that when I go to my doctor to have my separation and retirement physical? I have been diagnosed for combat PTSD as well as GERD and IBS. Just searching the net and these videos are super helpful so thanks for what you do.🍻
Had colonoscopy in 2016 and the Dr. said he saw IBS. 2018, a different Dr. Said this too. 2023, Dr. Saw and removed polyps and but said he saw gastritis and hemorrhoids.
I had hemorrhoids surgery in the early 1960's while stationed in Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX. They had to give me a spinal injection on my back before the operation. They cut three huge hemorrhoids that were causing me lots of pain and discomfort. After I got out of the service I had a few minor hemorrhoids surgery where they tied the new ones that were causing me pain. Sometimes when I am constipated and have a hard vowel movement I bleed. I wonder if this can be considered for a disability rating. Please, someone let me know.
Hey sir I am glad you found the information helpful!! I am not the expert on ratings so you may want to check with a VSO or another legal professional. Here is a good blog from a VA law firm about this: www.hillandponton.com/va-disability-ratings-for-hemorrhoids/#Compensation_and_Pension_Exams_for_Hemorrhoids
20% since I finally got approved for it. I went a week ago for my C&P exam then a week later it changed from 0% (August 2011) to 20%. It only sucks as I will not receive any monetary compensation for it since I have been 100% P&T in 2015. I believe we should petition to get every disability monetarily compensated (including back pay) that has been service connected in Congress approved.
With the PACT Act if I served in Kuwait can I claim IBS? Or can IBS be claimed secondary to lets say the medication I'm taking for my PTSD and migraines, etc?
You can always claim anything you believe is related to service. You may want to follow up with a legal professional who can advise you on the claims filling process and which would be the best way to file your claims
My husband had to have a hemorrhoidectomy last year after battling hemorrhoids for years. Unfortunately he was denied his original claim but his VSO suggested getting a nexus letter. His surgeon and the clinic who referred my husband to the surgeon do not write nexus letters. What can we do? Thank you.
I filed a claim for IBS presumptive gulf war, can I file for hemorroids at the same time as secondary. I’ve looked at the DBQ and I am confused, is it better to be diagnosed or not. Must of my VA doctors have never diagnosed, but the DBQ says I have been diagnosed. Seems like the VA is always pulling a fast one.
@prestigeveteranmedicalconsulting I am a Vietnam veteran and had external thromboses hemorrhoids the required surgical relief on multiple occasions while on active duty AND since my retirement. But…I retired 33 years ago. As I am on continuing stool softeners for this condition can I (and should I) still file a claim?
Hello, I had a 10% rating for hemorrhoids during my assignment to Germany in 1971- 1973(inducted to service). We handled radio active materials as members of NBC ist responder team.I claimed radiation exposure Pact Act for HTN & CAD.while waiting for the Pact Act result, should I apply for increased rating on the hemorrhoids since I have records of bleeding episodes since then. Colonoscopy was done in 2016 and some thromboses lesion was removed. Had TDIU also. What’s your fee? Ty.
Hey sir I am sorry to hear this. I am not an expert on the claims filling process so you may want to discuss your strategy with a legal professional. Sorry about that!
Currently rated for gerd. I just had an endoscopy, I was diagnosed with gastritis and duodenitis. Should I file a supplemental claim or just a new claim? I have only been out the service for about 9 months.

First off , awesome information. Thanks for the video. So the highest hemorrhoids can be rated at is 30%?

Well you can ask his treating doctor but remember that a nexus letter does not guarantee a positive outcome. You must show how his service caused this
This company awesome !
Thank you for the feedback!!
How can I message you?
I’ve recently filed for IBS, I got a 0% rating but prior to filing I’ve had multiple surgeries for anal fistula.
Hey sir sorry to hear about that. Email us at info@prestigeveteranmctx.com

These are some tough questions. I would recommend discussing the filling process with a legal professional
