Hello- i hope i get some sort of feedback because im on a verge of breaking down.
My King Charles Cavalier had a surgery and they removed the bladder stones because the urethera was blocked.
After 30 days, his flow isnt like it has been after the op, so its (not obstructed but its less) possible he has crystals/stones again.. even though he is on a "prescription diet".
    1) can a dog just get a blockage so shortly after removing them all?
    2) what can i do because we are still waiting for this analysis of the cause of the stones...... (which judging by your videos might be the completely wrong diet depending on the stone)

Watch the video by Dr Becker she's the lady that works with Joe mercola and they have a company called bark and whiskers. She has a video about struvite stones or that's how I found her video was searching for struvite stones and cats but she talks about dogs just as much.

Loving all of these crystal and urinary related videos! I've learned so much already to help my little 9 yr old guy. Can't seem to get rid of his crystals after his blockage with the initial direction of my vet.

My male intact chihuahua had complete blockage from cysteine stones and I wish ppl would talk more about these kind but they are rare so it’s been tough to learn about them…my dog is SUPER picky eater too plus he’s got a sensitive tummy so anytime I try one of the kidney remedies he gets the poops or it makes him throw up…ugh…

My 1-year-old ginger male cat just spent 5 days in the Vet ER hospital for a Urinary blockage, followed by bladder surgery to remove the stones. $8,000 later and told he must be on a Prescription Urinary diet for the rest of his life. He won't eat the wet flavors of any of the big 3 (Hills, Purina and Royal Canin) but will eat the dry kibbles of Purina and Royal Canin. I feel that I've been had and am not offering a long-term solution to my buddy. Why can't the veterinary profession get their act together on this topic?!

hi Dr judy. My dog had several calcium oxalate stones removed via surgery. the suggestion was to use royal canine urinary SO - Hydrolized protein (dueto severe food allergies)... It concerned me when you mentioned these types of urinary diets are only meant to be for 30 days.... was this specifically for the case of struvite stones? My understanding is my dog will need to be on this urinary diet for the rest of his life........

Would an air dried food like Sundays Food For Dogs be appropriate for a dog prone to struvite stones?
