Thank you for your generosity in sharing your personal story and this lovely quilt pattern. Lost my Mom to BC when I was 25. Sure wish I knew quilting back then. She would have treasured a handmade quilt.
My daughter who is in her 40's has been treated for breast cancer two separate times. First in her thirtys and again in her 40's. Two totally unrelated types of breast cancer. She is doing well now. Thank you for sharing.
As a fellow BC survivor, I just have to say you are amazing and you inspire me. These quilts are so lovely. During treatment, as you know, a warm quilt can make all the difference and give so much comfort. I make quilts for hospitals and these quilts have given me some great ideas. God bless you, Donna!
