- Korean singer Chai Sunyup 채선엽, 한떨기 장미꽃 The last rose of summer was recorded in the period of Japanese occupation 1938. She was one of the early classical soprano singer who studied in Japan. Her brother was a famous composer Chai Dongsun(채동선).

우리 근대음악도입기에 채동선 채선엽 남매분이 남긴 족적은 큽니다.
고단하고 지친 마음을 편하게 해주는 채교수님의 노래다.

저도 kim y 님과 같은 가사로 배워 입에서 자동으로 그 가사가 나오네요. 저는 1945년생입니다. 저는 이 가사가 더 와 닿습니다. Ireland 시인 Thomas Moore 가 Rosa of Old Blush 라는 장미를 보고 이 시를 지었다네요. Kim Y 님과 제가 아는 번안한 가사도 무척 잘됐다고 느낍니다.

This is in my opinion,the best performance ever!What a Voice,absolutely an Angel Voice!The timing,frasation and interpretation is unique!And the Choire!❤❤❤.Chai Sunyup(채선엽) R.I.P.
