Since the original ancestors of Filipinos are Austronesians (Malayo-Polynesians), some words that are similar among most Filipino dialects are Malay, like Indonesian words. If you see an Asian-looking person or a Polynesian-looking person and both have Spanish names (especially the last name), most likely those individuals are Filipino.

You display your philippine flag incorrectly. When displayed on walls it should be vertical. White triangle on top (facing the flag) blue on your left red on your right. Just a reminder.😉 flag is only displayed that way if it is in a pole.😊 hope this help.
