That little pike broke the winter drought then the several bass made for a wonderful meal back home. The deep-fried bass and chips looked delicious! Lexie was really into the fishing too and wanted to eat all your lunch. That was a nice video to open the 2023 fishing season. Take care Marc---tight lines and blue skies.

.I would like a fresh little wind of those here my friend. We have several days at more than 40 C, those landscapes of forest and rapids of water are incredible. You who are knowledgeable know how to navigate or bring ballast in those waters friend, if hunger strikes in the middle of the lake there is the solution, chicken soup. Excellent adventure companion. After a good fishing, a good meal. I was glad to accompany you my friend. Blessings always on your way.

Yummy Marc. You caught more fish in one day than I did in 10 years, lol. I did catch a nice sea bass last year fishing for mackerel, but it was under sized and didn't want to lose my truck, haha.

I have the same deep fryer at my camp , 2 of them. Marc I've caught northern bass and bass from the kawarthas that were all wormy . I've not seen wormy bass in the north have you ?
Yes it does happen! I have found that the warmer the waters the more likely you'll get parasites or worms.
