Truly it might cost you everything. But its worth it all. Especially when you enter the Kingdom and you can hug the Eternal King and spend eternity with the Lord in the Celestial City.
Jesus is the only one. He is everything.

Yep. Total surrender. It seems most Christians today don't really understand this. Most people want to hold hands with Jesus and the world as well. No. You must be willing to let go of this world and it's riches. Total surrender.
Did you really "totally surrender" though? Or is there still sin in your life? Of course we should obey God, but my Bible tells me that eternal life and being declared righteous before God is a "free gift" (Romans 5) based on the total surrender of Christ to save me, something *he* already purchased, based on *him* giving *his life* as a ransom for all (1 Tim 2:5-6), not based on you or me "giving my life" for it, or "purchased with the total complete surrender of your life to Christ. That's what saving faith is." as Lawson says in this video. I don't even know if the Catholic church could rival that in terms of teaching works salvation.

@@missiletoad7015 Salvation is not purchased with total surrender, but received as a gift through total surrender. Total surrender is not the price of Salvation, but the prerequisite of Salvation.
There is a difference between price and prerequisite, both in its general meaning and in context of salvation. One is infinite, the other is temporal. One is impossible and isn't demanded by God, the other is possible (through the grace of God and the strength of the Holy Spirit) and is demanded by God.
God has Himself paid the price of Salvation and is ready to offer it as a free gift to anyone who accepts the prerequisite of completely surrendering his life to God.
I just found you and I'm so blessed by your truthful preaching, what a relief and a miracle. I laid down my entire lifetime to keep my profoundly autistic brain injured adult son safely out of stupifyingly abusive group homes. I did it because God asked me to do it and He gives me the strength and patience and wisdom to fight against an evil world filled with Eugenistists including doctors and nurses and social workers. I stand between them and my son whom this evil world hates and doesn't want to have to see him. This world wants both my son and I dead. Even police have attacked my son right in his own bedroom and right on his own bed because he had a bad tooth and he was screaming. Long story... I was also attacked by the 25 cops who had rushed into our home. As soon as cops even see my son they instantly uncles their gun holsters and put their hand on the butt ready and itching to murder my son and me his loving mommy who would leap to protect my beloved son. If anyone bothers to read this, please pray for us. As I pray for all my brothers and sisters in Christ

This was beautifully said and done.usually there is music in the background which is too loud, has words in a song which interferes with the message, but this music was well chosen and without word’s interrupting the message. This message needs to be preached in every church building to wake up the people from “ cheap grace”. Amen and Amen.

I think we often forget the power of the Holy Spirt living inside us along with the nature of our new creation. There is much talk about all it will cost us, as if it's all based on our own strength and effort. The gospel is about God, not us, so that nobody should boast. What seems to be missing when we count the cost is the other side of the coin, the "opportunity" cost. When we are saved, we grow to love Jesus, He becomes our treasure, that desire He gives us will cost us all our former self/old man things to go after. We don't lose everything to find ourselves worthy of Jesus - He meets us as we are. We gladly lose things along the way the deeper we grow in love with Him during our sanctification. We should count the cost, but count it from a grateful heart - not out of resentment/fear/anxiety as some of these videos strike emotionally. Do you need to surrender your life? Of course, but it's not done out dire longing to run to the Savior - not with eyes of an angry God full of Wrath (that day is yet to come).

Always wonder why we need to have the background music to "set the mood?" I hear it online, I hear at services, everyone seems that the Holy Spirit needs our help to set the mood and maybe entice those. The movies do this for a reason, to get you emotionally involved or prepare you for what is about to happen.

Yeah, why does the Bible use rhetoric too! I mean, the Ancient Greek use it. Why did Paul quote an Roman poet. I always wonder why we need these « rhetoric devices » to « set the tone ». It seems that everyone believe the Holy Spirit need man’s help to sound eloquent or something. Also, David should have wrote Psalm as a collection of poem and not as music. How dare he used background music to « set the mood» of the Bible. Hm!

Psalms are used by Jews (at least, back in the days) as worship hymns. Even the Scottish Christians during the Hebrides Revival sang them. Psalms were written by David as a form of worship that we neglect to use today.
There is a difference between worship that is directed to God and "softly played guitar or piano" to set the mood.
Did they get the minstrels out when Peter preached to the cried during Pentecost? Did Phillip get a haro out to help the eunuch decide before being baptized?
Did Paul break out the band when he spoke of the unknown god to the Greeks?
Just like the movies...

@@n9wff I think if we had recording of Peter, Philip and Paul’s preaching, they wouldn’t mind, even thought we were wise for making sermon jam out of their speeches. It’s Lecrae’s old songs, classic serman jam like « Revival Hymn », and I’ll be honest sermon jam of Paul Washer that God use to play a big part toward my conversion. Hillsong, worldly motivation videos and Andrew Tate’s clip with music in the background are what you should be rebuking.

@I'll Be Honest - the dramatic music is displeasing to God. Sermons and messages from God through pastors and teachers was never meant to be accompanied by music.. A psalm, yes; a sermon, no. Imagine Sunday morning at the church house with the pastor preaching, and dramatic musical scores being played in the background over the PA by some unknown fellow who is self-interpreting the moods and tempo of the words being spoken. --- People don't learn and ponder the message that way, though many may be briefly enthralled by it. I myself can't listen to it, as much as I really want to. These are excellent messages!
This is spoken in truth and love. I pray you and everyone who does this will stop adding interpretive music to preachers words from God.

Don't expect him to speak audibly to you. I've been a Christian for over ten years and have never heard any such thing. Nothing to be discouraged about. He speaks to us through the written word of the apostles and prophets which His Spirit inspired.

Yeshua is the son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He took God's wrath upon Himself, that was the punishment for everyone in sin. He died and rose to give you new life in Him. Born again, a new creation. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. People need to turn from their wicked ways, Yeshua paid for it. That's God stating it in that verse and there are more verses. People need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple.
He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do.
We live in obedience to His law, which is all of scripture, every word of it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏🔥 🕊️
Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin.
God has said to stop sinning. Scripture says how you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus Yeshua's name may you see and know the truth in its fullness.
Yeshua is worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said.
Yeshua said If you love Me you will obey My commands. Love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.💖🙏🕊️🔥 obeying His every word and in that is life more abundantly. Praise God so Awesome!! Hallelujah Yeshua 🙏

Im having a hard time trying to understand when Jesus said " you must hate your own father mother brother and Sister and even your own life more then me" what is he saying, im so confused about this 😲😭😭😭 i thought its alll about Loveing and serveing one another
The Hate that Jesus is talking about is that you/we would love Him and obey Him so much that it may seem we don’t love our family. It is a sold out faith like “ sorry Dad sorry mom but Jesus has plans for me and I can’t make it today I am following Him” putting Jesus above all, complete surrender and a heart that says “yes Lord” it’s hard but it is worth it and many come into the kingdom when we prove through our obedience that there is not only someone that died for me but I am willing to die for Him.

This is true. What that scripture means for example. If you have a parent , friend or family Etc that willfully sins against the Lord you must choose to depart from them and cling to Jesus above all else cause bad company corrupts good character.
My mother likes to gamble at the casinos. When she ask me for money I don’t give it to her cause I don’t condone that lifestyle. I put Jesus first. That’s another example. We must choose righteous judgment above all else.

Salvation is free, no doubt. A person who got salvation will never walk or continue in sin anymore (1 John 3:9), he/she will live a sinless holy life, therefore, automatically abiding to all the laws of God and serving God at all times doing good works.
It's automatic after receiving salvation, if good thoughts, words, actions and deeds are not automatic after claiming to be a Christian then that person still have a huge issue with his/her own sins.

The entire book of Corinthians was written to disobedient, carnal, Christians who had to be told how to live, apparently a changed life is not automatic, that takes complete cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

If you ever have to chose between being loyal to Christ, or becoming homeless, you would chose homelessness if you are a true Christian.
What he means is that we are stewards of all that comes into our life. The creator has given and taken away all that we have and all that we lost.
I don't believe so because despite even the worst times in my life God has provided a roof over our heads. Even so, Scripture says he promises food and raiment, and therewith be content. I'm pretty sure that would take some getting used to for most of us.

@knockout9999 If your looking for a list of to-do's and do not's then repent and believe the Gospel. This is not about LAW and following morals this is about following Christ. He says in Luke 14:33 to renounce it all. - Forsake your life now or you will be damned in the life to come. The momentary joys of this world are not worth the hells of God's wrath in the life after.

Luke 14:33 says *disciples*. Being a disciple and trying to follow all God wants for you to do is WORK. Hard WORK. That verse says absolutely nothing about "renouncing it all" and "forsaking your life" to avoid being damned in the life to come or staying out of hell. Eternal life and God's righteousness credited to you is about putting your faith in CHRIST who sacrificed and forsook HIS life to purchase us, not by us doing any works of "committing our life to follow and serve him" to purchase or receive it. That's why it's called GRACE, and why the Bible says it is imputed WITHOUT WORKS (Romans 4). I mean, I see your comment was 12 years ago - but are you serious?
