Paul says sin may not have dominion over you If u are stuck in a particular sin examine ur self what is causing you to do this sin what's the root of it like for example my job wants me to tell a lie I'm a Christian ik not to lie but hey I wanna keep my job so I keep on lying so I'm stuck repeating the same sin over n over again what should I do now since I'm convict of this sin I can choose to stand with God and say hey I rather lose my job n have no money no food nothing or I can choose to not trust God and continue lying . The root of the sin would have been ur job now u know the root cause u can choose to obey God even though it will cost u everything .so now I pray and Repent and turn away from this sin because it is causing me to sin against God Ask the Lord to search u and expose this sin and once he does confess n turn away n if u need help asked God but pray pray and keep on renewing ur mind in Gods word

Such a catch 22, no? Man is so corrupt that the mercy and patience of God runs the risk of humanity intensifying the pursuit of sin because the Ax, so to speak, has not fallen after X,Y or z. How often does God say through the prophets…”they said God does not see. He will not punish”. The eternal wrath of God poured on the cross? Wait a minute! First the cross lasted only 3 hours, second this subclassification of types of wrath is, in my opinion, not biblical. The wrath of God is one, on an appointed time, in the day of the Lord, poured on Satan, his angels and those who have rejected Jesus. It is the only wrath i know, and it is to come. God condemned our sins in the cross, but not as a merciless judge, rather as a loving Father, and where there is Love wrath is not possible.
The last person on earth I want to hear talk about Gods wrath is Lawson, Piper, MacArthur, Washer or any other of the reformed tradition. They get it completely wrong! Run!

The life I live now in the flesh i life by faith in the Son of God Who loves me and gave His life for me. It's ALL about Christ and HIS strength IN us, not about our strength. We must realize weakness and become totally dependent on Him alone and not self or our own strength. I have been walking with God for several years but just now (due to many very tough trials in my life, addiction and ex cheating, dad/boss is alcoholic- to make it short) to a point where I literally have to listen to the Word every single morning and keep my eyes fixed on Him to make it thru my day. I'm persecuted almost daily at work, but just verbally so it's fine I'm in no danger. And I keep my heart soft towards those who sin against me and continue to feed them milk and meat in this season, and treat them how Christ treats me. I witness to everyone I speak to. At this time in my life, they (those that know me) think I've lost my mind and attack my "religion" in lack of understanding. Im still patient with them and take cheap personal insults ("jokingly" in their eyes, but the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart, and Christ should not be mocked by any means) as an everyday necessity to minister the gospel. Once you live to truly please God and no longer live to please man but instead live to reveal the glory of God thru yourself to others you will have to become dependent on Him completely because it is indeed possible. I cry every day. I need Him that much right now. If I don't go to Him, there are weekends that I won't get out of bed and lay in my depression, barely drinking water and not eating. If I turn to God, I overcome and my tears of pain LITERALLY turn into tears of joy. My dad was in prison from age 9-18, my mom passed at age 15. Life has been wild for me, but this whole time God has used every last moment, every dream, every tear, to prepare me for every step of the way; and now, I'm so much more aware of His presence on a daily basis and feel lost if He is not on my mind or a part of every single conversation- no matter who the person is.. even those whose come in suits and ties. We are all in need of a savior. From this world and from ourselves. I’m not angry but I feel very disrespected the way you speak of God which I pray to every night, saying that He will cast souls into a lake of fire to drown and burn for all eternity; and on top of that, also mocking and laughing at them while they’re forever consciously suffering. It doesn’t matter what bad things someone has done in their life, that punishment is not only wrong, but unimaginably sadistic and evil. When you describe my Creator who loves me as worse than Hitler then I’m not happy about it.
We deserved God's wrath, and eternity is not long enough to satisfy the heinousness of the crime that we committed against our creator, who is infinitely perfect in every way. Jesus as a propitiation took the full punishment of hell and the wrath of God was satisfied. Yes, only what Jesus did on the cross satisfied God's wrath. You have a low view of the Holiness of God and the sinfulness of man.
He literally quoted scripture, seems to me you have a problem with the true God of the Bible. And the god you “pray to every night,” is but an idol, a god you created in your own mind, if he differs from the God of the Bible.
