Alexisonfire has possibly the most consistent discography I have ever seen, they change things up but they always remain solid. Also, a music video for a Canadian band riding the Maid of the Mist is like a music video for an American band visiting the Statue of Liberty :P
Seem them live a year or so back with billy talent, cancer bats, and against me and im proud to say that at least i seen em on one of their last tours they will ever do. BTW it was an amazing show :)
i remember the first time i heard Alexisonfire, it was '44. caliber love letter' i was about twelve. my friend and i were playing red faction 2 on his PS2. i immediately fell in love. up until then i had been listening to bullshit mainstream music and that song was the point where i started listening to heavier stuff. I will always cherish that memory and will always be thankful to Alexis for pointing me in the right direction R.I.P. indeed you wonderful musicians... you will be missed.

@ChadHardbodies The Northern is a throwback to the origins of rock and roll which is original blues music. The lyrics were based off of a very old blues song called Roll Jordan. It's a tribute to the roots of rock and while it may have some christian undertones they aren't by any means a religious band. Most of them grew up in christian families but they aren't religious.
