Basically what you need is a point for XY which is common during bit changes. What I do is I mark a point on the material and after changing bit make sure to bring router bit to that point on XY axis so no matter what it will work every time.

Glad to hear you’ll be featuring VCarve in upcoming videos. Would like to hear your impressions of the new features in 10.5
Also noticed you’ve upgraded from Inventables Z probe to the Triquetra. That would make another cool vid even though you u aren’t using it for X and Y on this project.
    Keep up the good work!

I’ve used the Triquetra for X and Y and haven’t found the need to do it all the time since my XY basically stays the same from one project to a other. My main concern is the Z height, especially for when I’m doing wavy flags.

Big big news...xcarve has a new redesigned drastically improved and more capable model / version coming in dec 2020...supposedly this model will remedy the many many issues/downfalls that the current and orig xcarve has/ had

Is the “unlock/lock motors” buttons not available now? Or how did you get those on your screw?

Easel has a button that you select that gets you set up for two bits
