I'd ask the manufacturer about watering - as I think the ground needs to be wet to receive the nematodes and then you want to water them in. ideally - if you don't have a sprinkler, I would try to put them down on a day when it is raining - not hard where it is puddling, but where it's soaking into the ground gradually. yes, you found one of my videos on cedarcide already (because i replied to that comment before this one) - ruclips.net/video/0Dqjo0ZAc-w/видео.htmlsi=I_YrTUh9KOrDaRuQ
I believe you can but I’d double check with the manufacturer. I’d try to apply them after a rain in the morning if that’s possible. If it’s a light consistent rain (not puddling), that’s my favorite time to apply them. Because ground needs to be wet and you need to water them in. So a light rain takes care of all of that.

Hello - This is a great video! I got this exact same version from Natures Good Guys and have the same chameleon hose end sprayer… I have a big problem with grubs as I see my yard being teared down regularly by Moles .. Hope this triple blend mix works and kills all the grubs so moles find food elsewhere.. I have a question- The way you did half of the nematodes, did you put it back in the fridge? Also, if I have a front, side and back yard do you recommend doing this process in 3 parts / 3 times or use the same solution everywhere until the sprayer runs out of the solution and get another 10-25m pack again?
I reached out to Nature's Good Guys on your behalf - I am not sure if they will respond to me or to you here. But in general, ALWAYS ask the manufacturer - they're the ones that should know these things. I am only using these for fleas - not for grubs.
I got a partial response - "Yes, unused/unactivated nematodes can be stored in your fridge for up to 30 days. Hi, great video! I'm spraying to decrease chiggers in our yard. My question is - you stated 1 1/2 tsp setting on Chameleon for 50M nematodes, but then you divided your bag in half (so theoretically about 25M nematodes). Should you use the Chameleon setting for 25M in that case (1.5oz)? I plan to do the same thing as you did. Thanks!
hi floppy, the so called filter at end of small hose inside bottle has only 2 of the 4 holes open, the other 2 did not get puched out i guess should i use it with out it ???
Extra spray? I’m not sure what I meant without relistening to audio. I use 1/2 of the nematodes for this application and then used the other half of the powder 2 weeks later. Does that make sense?
@@Floppycatsoh okay,we sprayed yesterday our yard and in the sprayer was left a little on the bottom I put it in refrigerator,so I need to use that, thank you for explaining

Hi, do you have an update? Did it work for you? Thanks for sharing the info.!
yes and no. it worked until a family of racoons moved in. so next summer, i am going to do nematodes every other week and cedarcide every other week.

When is the best time to apply this?
spring and fall. sometimes i have been known to do it monthly.

Is this only for surfaces or can you spray directly on an animal...
It’s only for surfaces. Don’t think they work by spraying on your pet. You could contact the company and ask.
I didn’t use mine because the package was leaking, wet and warm. The last time I ordered them, they put cold packs that didn’t leak just condensation
did you reach out to them for a replacement?
