- Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith reacts to the EU's Brexit negotiating strategy document. Ducan Smith tells The Sun Online why the EU is panicking, due to the fact many of their economies are struggling and becoming the "sick man of the world". The Tory MP also delves into the upcoming negotiations urging the UK to retain fishing rights and the right to make her own laws.

Strange how we don't hear this on the BBC.
Hmm! Freedom from The EU Bullies, and! BBC Bullies.........Fixed fees? Not increasing controls and no Democratic choice? Security in our GB Democratic Union! With World Trading Standards...Sounds great to The majority’s!
Strange if you did.
Freedom from the BBC next, do not want to pay for them/ It HAS to happen. Now is the time. They are as bad as ever, getting worse, despite Johnson warning then. Latest video on YT from the BBC: Harvey Weinstein and how the MeToo movement can progress.
Andrew, You do realise this is from the Sun lol
pexxa johannes Hi....yep strange if you ever hear or see anything credible from the BBC or THE EU....about relinquishing their Monopoly on Undemocratic Licence fee exploitation! How do you get a very well (overpaid) paid BBC/EU monopoly to be Democratic? BBC/EU Prime examples for runaway annual charges with Your money......and no Democratic answer from the recipients....the BBC/EU
This should have been the attitude the day after the referendum result..
But one good thing is that those three and a half years allowed us to see what complete B*st*rds we were dealing with - both in Brussels and in Westminster.
Two strong remainers: Cameron and then May. Who also let down our country on crime. Torys are usually strong on crime. Yes, Blair over-spent which forced austerity but they did not need to cut police funding. About time we have more sensible people like Johnson running the country.
Very true.
Wrong, this should have been the attitude BEFORE the referendum result.
So people could not have been hoodwinked into believing that British trade would not be sacrificed for the promotion of the international currency speculating markets.
Sovereignty is not at stake, the UK drives on a different side of the road and full control of all armed forces are by the British government.
........a coastal state that happily misleads it's people, breaks peace treaties, won't let 18 year olds have a vote!
United Nations law civil aviation law and International regulations for the prevention of collision at sea and human rights have also as EU law been ratified by parliament.
Key words"ratified by parliament"
And EU law has always been ratified by parliament.
If to have full sovereignty, the UK cannot ratify any laws in cooperation with other countries to be sovereign then it is an odd country indeed.
We should be ratifying laws to ban Crypto that finances child crime on innocent vulnerable children especially vulnerable children preyed on by child slavers etc on the dark Web.

Should a nation if it catches a pandemic really have its Currency and stock market collapse as well.?

I dont see much point on stating that we are friends and want to trade and prosper together.. and in the backrooms shame the very people u guys called friends... are you trying to cause some bigger conflict with european people?
Hopefully the collapse of fishing in UK waters will allow fish stocks to recover from over fishing.
Indeed, the green part of my heart likes that.

@@davebox588 You mean British government GAVE our quotas to the other EU countries at knock down prices. Next year the "EU quotas" will not exist outside EU waters.
@@davebox588 here is a reality check for you:
* 40% of Denmark’s entire fishing take comes from Britain’s territorial waters.
* In the Celtic Sea, France gets nearly three times the British allocation of Dover sole, roughly four times more cod and five times more haddock. France has 84% of the quota for cod in the English Channel, while Britain has only 9%.
* A single Dutch trawler the Cornelis Vrolijk, had the right to catch 23% of England’s entire fishing quota. In comparison the entire small inshore fishing fleet for the whole England is given 4% of the quota.
* European fishermen take 173 times more herring, 45 times more whiting, 16 times more mackerel and 14 times more haddock and cod out of UK waters than British fishermen do.
These are the quotas given out by the EU. They decimated coastal communities and some skippers gave up. Only a few so stop peddling the lie everyone did it. We had 75% of our resources handed to foreign trawler skippers.

And SO today some old lady who hard a her life will be lying in a hospital bed whilst her savings are used to attack perhaps the £ making her grandchildren much poorer.
there is a treaty promise to the troops World War II for stabilization of world currencies as a foundation for a lasting peace the actually means that we should keep our own money our own money our own money can I say it again our own money,in local Communities so that we can have possibly trillions of dollars worth of currency to help the doctor's fight this virus and give proper wages to the doctors and nurses who actually do something rather than just destroy the world economy.
And for those terrified of migrants who are told all migrants do this all migrants do that when clearly it is only a very very small amount of them that do.
Approximately 80 million of them wouldn't be drowning in the Mediterranean if these hedge funds based in tax havens hadn't been going around bankrupting their countries with currency tags organised currency attacks where money is hidden in accounts and released upon a country as a surprise attack to cause panic on the markets that happened to this country in 1992.
They know not what they do,if the whole world dies and the nuclear reactors all melt down and most life on earth is destroyed we might come back as cockroaches or Beatles and after all they didn't do bad.
Unless a nuclear sub full of a mutated super virus sinks into the Mariana trench blows up and sets off its cargo of Thermonuclear weapons each one more powerful than all the weapons dropped in ww2.
This might be an argument against Malthusian economics of course.
So ultimate question "who deserves $1bn more for a days work?
A currency trader using your pension and savings to maybe bankrupt a country and create poverty migrants and more risk of pandemic?"
Or
The brave drs and nurses who are fighting this pandemic and when they buy their,4,x4 s and tailgate us joke sorry will be creating lots of joobs and wealth in local communities.
And perhaps more importantly more people would be queing up to do the jobs!and we wouldn't be relying on poor people and migrants to do those jobs!

@@garylewis6657 So have you realised what happens when that stops? We starve, we run out of medicines, we run out of everything we need to survive. We import 50% of our food. We import a lot of our medicine. we can stockpile but eventually the stockpiles run out.
@@garylewis6657 Oh, the good old, "they need us more than we need them routine". Sorry, that argument is false and misleading. The UK is far more reliant on the EU than the other way around. Also, consider that the integrity of the Single Market is of vital strategic importance to the EU and more important than accomodating irrational and unreasonable demands from a non-EU member state.
He is wrong in the claim of campo bacterial infections: The USA has roughtly 1.5 million illnesses per year, the EU has 250000 cases. The population of the USA is 327 million vs 512 million in the EU. So the USA outnumbers the EU in those infections six times in absolue numbers and 9 times in relative numbers. That is not desirable. The numbers are taken from official statistics and rounded. The numbers of the EU still include the UK

That is correct and the yanks use chemicals willy nilly in their meat. Angel dust is banned in EU.. and in Russia but hey they pump animals with it in USA to make them grow lime mad.
So what you're saying is that our standards are going to drop now we've left the EU?
@@StumpyHead79hopefully not but the likes of Mogg and IDS say UK will be free of EU regulations and free to buy cheaper food and goods from around the world. Well... the EU stops substandard goods coming in and buys from all around the world. So to get more and cheaper food and goods in...UK would have to lower standards. UK could also increase standards and regulations... but that won't make stuff cheaper... and Brexiteers voted for less bureaucracy and rules
Well said IDS 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I’m feeling very proud of the UK........
Why just why? IDS is lying again just go and look this stuff up! WHO figures 1 in 6 cases of food poisoning per annum in the US 1in66 UK that's not better it's lots worse. "We are not part of the European Union and they need to wake up to that" - Well said.
I really hope IDS is speaking for the Government and Boris doesn't back down or cave in to EU bullying, and supports UK fishermen.
It's pretty clear to anyone who has run a business that WTO is the most likely outcome, given the EU's stance and we should, not only prepare for this but, immediately order a dozen fishery patrol boats to send a clear message: we WILL control our waters...
Are you a fisherman?or a currency speculator?
Who is going to buy all the fish that british people don't eat, are all.the foreign Fisher men who bought the fish quotas from British Fisher men going to be compensated to.leave British waters.
The EU are doing all it can to try and persuade this country not to commit suicide but Boris Cummings and the Tory party are hell bent on destroying this country.
@manboobs But what about all the fishing industry jobs that were promised, once out of the EU
@@alanfairbrother890 There's no reason why fishing licenses can't be sold to foreign fishing boats and they can fish our waters. They should conform to UK standards though and not (as the French and Spanish do) fish with small mesh nets. This is why we need patrol boats.
UK fishermen should have preference though and there's no reason why they can't grow their industry and sell their catch to the EU.
We eat a lot of fish in this country - there are about 10,000 Fish & Chip shops in the UK compared to 1,250 MacDonalds. We eat different sea fish (preferring cod and haddock) to our continental friends who like herring and sardines.
