The hard thing to predict about Geelong is that they are almost like the Swans in a way. Regardless of the players that retire, there seems to be a year or two years they would miss the finals only to return back stronger with some good manageable recruiting and a strong winning culture. This was also the same thing about Hawthorn since the mid 1970s until the early 1990s for a long time they were a side consistently up in the finals or only missing out by a few games.
Do you realise Carlton had 19 injured players just before the final in Brisbane! I repeat 19! That's absolutely extraordinary! Not only that but they did not play a single game for the whole season without at least 10 injured players. To have even made the 8 was an extraordinary performance! They ended up having double the amount of injuries to first 22 players than any other team including Richmond. Any team in league history would struggle with that horrendous run. These are all facts. Now Russell is gone perhaps the Blues will actually stand half a chance because the enormous amount of injuries destroyed them and yet they still admirably won 13 games! They played every single player on the list except 2 players. Also the one period when they (ONLY HAD 10 INJURIES) but didn't add to to the injury list for a few weeks they were literally the best team in the league at the time apart from Sydney! They were smashing good teams until the the injuries just completely destroyed them. People have foolishly judged them and with some luck finally after a very long time they will be right in the mix for the premiership. Then again more massive injury lists and they are no chance. By the way when they had ONLY 10 injuries The Swans Cats Lions and Giants had less injuries combined!
The ham and cheese analogy 😂 laughed at it but it’s very very true
Ham and cheese will get you through. No truer words have ever been uttered 😂
@ it’s 100% the truth, 110% even
