What spf or product would you recommend for smp on head when going out to sun to prevent this?

Beauty by earth has a great mineral sunscreen, as well as wearing a hat 🧢

Hi there just a quick one , did your scalp start to peel and did it affect the pigments . I burned mine other day and it’s started to peel slightly . I had on SPF 15 and forgot that wasn’t enough and burned my head slightly . Would it affect the pigment ? I’ve had it 2 years and it’s the very first time I’ve had slight Sunburn on it so its bugging me

Hey Joe...your SMP looks like it is SMP all over, even on the sides. Is that an accurate assessment by me ? Looks great! Just wondering. I have some pretty weak side hair that I think could use some help.

Hello :) I have a typical Norwood 7 hair loss level. So, I do have hair on the sides and I have a "horseshoe" pattern when grown out.
Nichole did an excellent job blending my treatment. The blending aspect of Subtle P is so important in tying together the smp/subtle p to the remaining native hair.
From my perspective, few smp artists are willing and/or capable to blend weak or thinning side hair and match it with hairline and top.

@@scalp_logic I am a norwood 7 myself. If I got smp, would it look unnatural to use the Andis T-Outliner on it? should someone like me go all the way to the scalp?

I know a guy that had smp looked really good but he works on top of buildings putting up safety nets no helmet or cap no sun screen or moisturiser his skin on his head looks like shoe polish looks real black in patches his skin pigment looks dark whys that happened.

Yes, too much sun (especially over a long period of time) can most definitely alter and/or ruin a smp treatment.
It sounds like the smp artist went too deep and dark for the shoe polish effect :(
