@@disneyisabellaprobably cause something is going on there and they too scared or don’t care enough to check it out🤷♂️ employees werent allowed to even go over there after they closed it so im thinking sum extraordinary
@@TrentonMoser… Don’t be ridiculous. They only permanently close attractions for very few reasons - low attendance versus the cost of continuing operations, or land use versus massive infrastructure failures. So guess which one caused Discovery Island’s closure here, fool…
Because it was similar to the opening of Animal Kingdom back then and lost attendees. Same goes for River Country. Opening of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon killed it.
the reason why is because there was some reports people were dying and when it was opened there was some alligators near some lakes it was closed and reopened again then another boy died because of a brain eating parasite it's so creepy let's all hope we don't be like that kid by the way..
Imma assume that the company doesn’t want to pay the fees of renovations and restoration And since there was a few deaths and very poor management, they have all the parks to keep their money towards I doubt that the even give 2 sh!ts about discovery island There was also allegations of animal abuse when the island was in operation So unless they are still in discussion about deciding what to do with it, I think it will stay in abandonment for another 20 years at the very least :(
It would be interesting to see if they modernized it. I mean they are building a new resort where river country was so I don’t see why they couldn’t do anything with it.
My grandfather visited Disney discovery island in April 8 1974 after the opening day
This is probably the reason why 'five nights at treasure island" was created
Even if there was an incident
This is what Modern Jurassic Park would look like.
Shout out to the camera man for trespassing for this video

I miss discovery island
My grandfather went to discovery island on the opening day when he was in 11th grade
That’s awesome! 😊 Also, I’m working on some new content coming soon!

Animal kingdom opened that was a bigger version of that
Why don’t they just fix it up and turn it into something else

There was some controversy! I’ll look to bring this up in a future video. Currently working on new content now 😊
