What a fascinating historical city! Enjoyed the views of the valley and especially the sun going down over the buildings on the hillside. Food and drink looked amazing as ever. Thank you for sharing 😊
Jewelry is one of the oldest cultures in Mardin, its like 4 thousands years doing this art in Mardin. I’m professional tourist guide, Salih Aburşu, next time I’ll be so pleasure to have great tour together in MARDİN 🙏

Hey Traveller’s! Happy New Year! Mardin looks unique. Kyle, the one thing I can tell you about coffee and wine is; the more wine you drink at night, the more you’ll need a coffee in the morning 😅 Safe Travels!
My grandfather was from Mardin . It was PART OF SYRIA then borders changed after the war Most Christians fled Martin was considered the Paris of the Middle East
We are fine! We were in this region in September and are safe and sound in Canada now. Just reading about the news now and how horrible the situation is. Praying for everyone right now!
It was Syria but the genocide happened in 1915 and the Turkish took it and killing thouuuuuusand of innocent Assyrians like my ancestors. My ancestors moved to Hassakeh and ras el Ain. Ah Mardin 🙏💫😔!!!
Hi all the old buildings the churches and mosques are made by Suryaniler old people who lived there more than 5000 years back. First People who belived in Jesus. They talk arameisk. All the base like hand work jewelry and food the culture are from the christians people. If you search you can read the history. Many of there works and books are in museum like England and France and other country.
@@oznurturgut3564Lan, nobody mentioned Kurdistan. This used to be Mesopotamia and Süryani ( Assyrian empire) people lived here for over 5.000 years and still lives here. Now it’s modern day Turkey. Relax, you can’t deny history.

Perhaps we could see more of the sights if the camera is less on the filming person.
Perhaps watch a different video rather than a travel vlog that’s about the persons experiences? Appreciate the view though thanks
How do you travel to this pretty town?
There are quite a few ways! There is an airport in Mardin so that’s the easiest, but we took a bus from another city a few hours away.
Are you guys ok? There was a big earthquake a few hours ago not far from Mardin. Keep us updated. Get out of that region. Go back to Istanbul
