The other school that mooreside merged with was Windsor First School, which was situated where the new houses are built at the top of the ramp on the prom that gave you "the best view of the bay" just off Gibson street
Hi Andy! Thank you for the great and very informative video ! I am the artist whose paintings you mentioned in your programme, and id like to point out that if you think my works were expensive, you should have asked management about the "Lowry" 🤣🤣 Cheers, Chris - Blue Hares Art
Hi mate, I'm from ashington so I'm sure you'll be doing a video there soon as in Northumberland. Just wanted to say keep up the good work. Very interesting. Demesne is pronounced domain. If want to know where anything is in ashington, get in touch.
I remember when you picked this one at random and I’m sure you’re glad you did. Very interesting place with a lovely sea front. Dolphins too! Must be a first for the channel.
Absolutely! Of course we had no idea what to expect from this. It was totally alien to us, being from a long way South. The Dolphins were THE find of the entire week. It was so wet and miserable on that second day and we really didn't want to be out in it - then we found Ivor with his binoculars stood in the rain (he must be mad!)...and the rest is history!
Enjoyed the video. My sister husband family name is Fairbairn and have been here nearly 170 years. They came down from Scotland in fishing boats.
Funny to see myself and my brother on your video beside the time capsule. Newbiggin is my home town.
I grew up in newbiggin by the sea & I absolutely loved it
We developed a fondness for it after this trip!

I really enjoy your video's ❤️
Thank you so much!
Newbiggin lad living in Canada for many years almost made me homesick by.
Glad to be of service :D

The Couple in the bay to locals are called Eb and Flo.
Haha as in, the ebb and flow of the water! Nice touch!
