- New project will be a VW Crafter which I will be converting from scratch.
It is going to have a electric bed that raises up into the roof, and I need to make it so it accommodates two dog units, Im going make my own roof rack to suit my Kayaks, solar panel and side awning.
Im going make its swamper/overlander style.
A outside shower unit will also be attempted !

That was a great video!!. It has given me the confidence to do my own windows when I get my Crafter!
Thanks, give it a go, you can’t really go wrong, make sure the adhesive is warm as it’s easier to squeeze. And keep everything clean. Good luck.
Love the small rear windows!
Just wanted a bit of fresh air whist near the bed, still debating to put glass in the rear doors! Something I could add at a later date. Thanks for watching
Yes, I was thinking the same. Yours look better than mine though, being that bit smaller. If you're fitting maxxair fans, they should drag the breeze through those windows too.
@@exploresandtosummitlove your van great job I’ve just starting following. These windows do you have a link to them particularly the smaller ones. Cheers for the videos you give great information. 😊
@@kilogolfbravo9567 hi thank you, I got all the glass from ‘camperglass’ they have all makes and two different size smaller window, have a look on the website, quick delivery and they sell the fitting kit and edgings.
Spot on video mate, definitely gained another subscriber 👍🏽 cant wait to see this finished.
Thank you. I’m in episode 11 now, episode 12 this weekend. Thanks for watching 👍
Just liked and subscribed! love the crafters! Can’t wait to see how it turns out
Thanks, video of my new wheels tomorrow, I’m attempting a bed lift that goes to the ceiling leaving seating underneath.
Where did you get the small windows
Camper glass, the same place I got the large windows from.
Did u have a template for the large side windows?
You don’t need one, on the inside of the van the inner skin is the shape of the metal you need to cut out, just follow that line.
@@exploresandtosummitat I get you , makes it easier also what is the black stuff you put on around the windows? It looks like the windows won’t make contact with the van because of the trim you put on ?
The trim leaves a small gap so the window adhesive has a good amount and can expand with hot and cold weather temperatures
