  • In this video we take you with us for a Day In The Shop, at Goliath Overland Outfitters. In this episode, we installed an Eibach lift kit on a 2019 Toyota Rav-4, for our friends at Faster Flate.
Along with the lift kit, we also hooked them up with a nice set of BFGoodrich A/T tires and Fiften52 wheels. We think the Rav-4 came out looking great, and we are excited to know what you think about it.
Also, let us know if you like this form of videos, in the comments.
    Enjoy!

I don't often comments if I don't have anything good to say, but in this case I have to comment because this was absolutely the worst installation video I have ever seen. You don't show how you are compressing the rear coil springs up into the car. You don't comment if you're doing it in the garage on what an extreme load that it will have. You don't show anything on the front coil spring other than a couple of little twists on the coil to show that you're putting a coil spring on the front strut. You don't comment about how many inches it was before and how many inches it was after.
After looking at the image of the car coming out, it looks way too high in the back unless that person is carrying an extreme load or towing a heavy package at the tongue point. Also. The alignment of the rear subframe was not even touched and it looks to me like that rear sub frame needs to come down a little bit to compensate for that extra height increase in the rear coils. Personally, I don't like this install video at all. It is too high level. I get it if you are very experienced but for the do-it-yourself guy. This is absolutely very little help.
Also reviews on ebox springs on the RAV4 are like riding on rocks unless you have a very heavy load in that car. Especially in the rear. You don't mention what kind of springs they are and what coil weight capacity they are.
These are my two cents as an experienced Lyft person and always doing it in my garage with basic hand tools. Also, you're jamming an impact wrench into the engine hood plastic over the strut mount with no care to the owner's car. You talk about the Lexus way too much on those ridiculous bumpers sorry. And you have that music playing through the whole thing and a guy that I can barely understand what he's talking about. Again sorry but this video is toast.

That looks awful. Way too high in the back and would probably have been able to fit those tires without any lift, which is always the best way to go if possible.
I don’t see any spring compressor tool anywhere in the video. Pretty shure they had to bring the shocks to another shop to replace the coils for them 😂 and the guy is complaining while doing the rears, hoping that the fronts will be easier 😂
