My mom and I sometimes watch this show together. So one day after a fight with her I had the idea to buy a cheescake and returned home. When she opened the door I hold up the box and asked: Instead of a fight, how about a cheescake?
She couldn't stop laughing and the fight was over.
Wonderful!!! My eyes teared up reading your comment, because it made me think of my Mother. We would have our "little fight", and then 5 minutes later, we were holding hands. Miss her so much ❤️.

I used to feel silly that I took so much comfort in a tv.show but I felt so good when I realized i was definitely not the only one!! Love this show and NEVER get tired of watching it!!! Lol

When I was growing up, I HATED cheesecake. Didn’t like the taste of it. However, during my high school years, I started watching The Golden Girls. Whenever they had their scenes of them getting together eating cheesecake, I suddenly started craving it. Then as the years passed, I became a cheesecake fanatic . Thank You Golden Girls for your comedy and helping me rediscover the deliciousness of cheesecake ❤️

My mom , sister and I were on vacation- several years ago- in Tennessee and went to an Olive Garden. We told the waiter that we were from Minnesota and had heard about their chocolate cheesecake . I swear that the whole kitchen staff came out to look at us . I assume that they thought that we had traveled all the way from Minnesota simply to try their cheesecake. That would've been a funny Golden Girls show with the girls traveling to a different state to try a restaurant's cheesecake

I used to watch this with my mom all the time. Now it's been 6 years and I still watch it now, alone, and she lives on for me in every single one of these episodes.

Love watching The Golden Girls as they lift me up when I am depressed and my kitty Midnight Baby helps me too ! Life can throw some bad things at me but having kitty and The Golden Girls making me smile and laugh makes life more worthwhile and very happy ! I look to humor and God and kitty to help me !

I so wish I had friends that had similar personalities to The Golden Girls. Except for Dorothy her personality would be me because I'm always good when it comes to sarcasm. Like one time one of my former friends asked me if I had seen the movie Finding Nemo. I was like well of course Travis they found him in that movie. Then Travis said what movie? I sarcastically said The Silence Of The Lambs Travis! Then he looked at me like I was crazy...true story. I swear if my life were a TV sitcom the whole audience would die laughing at a lot of hilarious things that I've said.
